Im just been thinking are we only interview 1 man aday because if 9 men had made the shortlist surely they must have 1 of them in mind, the quicker they make there mind up the better because at the moment the club look like a rudderless ship going nowhere.

I take it you have never had an interview ?
Interview process for this type of job would be interview all 9 first off ( this first round of interviews may take a couple of weeks )
second round of interviews narrowed down to say the last three or four maybe a presentation involved. ( timescale one week )
third interview down to the last two candidates and then whoever is offered job is sent a contract if agreeable accepts ( timescale one week )
If candidate doesn't accept the candidate who came second maybe will be offered the job.
In terms of timescale to do the interview process properly you are looking at minimum of three weeks at best but could take upto six weeks.

Appreciate that's the norm but 3-6 weeks! That's our season over already!

A month without a manager is a catastrophe. Whilst I agreed it was time for AT to go, to allow him to rebuild a squad and have the pre-season also, why didn't they sack him back in April.

the first stage of interviews has already been done at least, so that's at least a couple of weeks done, i'd say another week, perhaps 2 at a push

Arsenal game is a fortnight tommorrow - bet it'll be announced then and he'll do that shit thing of watching in the stands and taking notes and not officially taking over till we get stuffed.

3 weeks to interview 9 candidates? 3 days tops with 3 per day, allowing 2 hours per interrview with breaks in between, invite top 2/3 for final interview, all completed in a day, the whole process shouldn't take longer than a week. Even the process for interviewing CEO's for top companies won't take 6 weeks.

What planet are you on? Football club managment Interviews are nothing like normal business ones.

You telling me when Sean Dyche was sacked at Watford and 48 hours later Gianfranco Zola was appointed, your above process took place?

Personally i don't think there will be an appointment before the forum (if it happens) Fisher will use this th gauge fans reaction to the candidates on the shortlist.

You have to remember Sisu are a business first and CCFC are just part of their portfolio. So yes they will treat the process like a normal business like appointment. Because also they are trying to portray that they are proffessionaly run.
The likes of Watford that are owned by one person or a family are able to make a quicker decision.

That is perhaps the most desperate shot at SISU I have yet seen.

The interviews were due to be starting this week so according to this post it will be another 3-6 weeks before we appoint a new manager

It wasn't intended to be a shot at Sisu, just explaining how it is likely to work.
I will admit to not being a fan of Sisu but I agree with them going through the full interview process and take their time to get it right.
Most of you are screaming on here for them to appoint someone now, the season will be over blah blah blah.
But if Sisu get this appointment wrong you will be the first ones screaming again.

No read my post. At no point have I mentioned when the interviews start or have started I have just explained the process.
I would be surprised though if they have left it to this week to do interviews especially when some of the managerial prospects were odds on last week.

Sisu made loads of mistakes why do you think they would make the right one now.I,ve also had many interviews.I was told a few days later if I got it or not .

It will be done by Monday. Gives the club a chance to get a loan to pay for the new manager from Ocean Finance and then its a done deal! ;)

Its still a lottery to get it right at any level but by going through a detailed process they have more chance of getting it right.

You haven't a clue have you

The short list of 9 was drawn up at the weekend and interviews were beginning this week, or have you been in a coma for the last week when that news was released

So according to your first post the manager job won't be filled for another 3-6 weeks

Have to say it is quite funny watching you try to backtrack
