Vik has to be cleverer. Turns his man, runs into trouble. Lay it off quicker

Gyo needs to wake up a bit.
He tries to overcomplicate it sometimes too. A couple of times there's been a simple pass that would have been better than trying to do it all himself. Can't complain too much about him, but if he could sort his decision making out...

Watch Wilson, he stood watching Allen fall over and didn't come to close the angle until the scorer touched the ball a couple of times
Exactly my thought at the time. Gave him the whole goal to aim at by being so slow off his line. The guy was clean through from 25 yards out and his touch into the box wasn’t great

Pretty shit half. No one's really standing out. Sheffield United been the better team and deserve their lead.

It was a shocker from him, seemed genuinely surprised he might have to try and save a football!

Yeah agreed he was one of the standout players at the start of the season when we were poor. But since we went on our good run he's been fairly quiet and we definitely need more from him offensively.
He's a consistent 6/10 performer, looks alright when everyone around him is performing at 3 or 4 / 10 but doesn't offer much when the rest of the team is playing well.

Really poor. Look like the players had too much beer and food on Christmas Day. Burroughs has had a good game, that’s about it. Palmer been OK in flashes.

Get Allen off and Waghorn on. He won’t unless it’s 80 mins cos Allen is apparently undroppable but we need more players capable of receiving and keeping the ball in the final third.

Can't believe how many of you didn't get a firestick for Xmas 🙄. Not a bad half tbf, Palmers done well since coming on. Still think gyok will score

Burroughs has played well again but started to look leggy. Allen is just not getting hold of the ball. Looks low on confidence. Palmer showing some great touches. Think Gyokeres should have hit his back heel pass first time.
I would quite quickly bring Waghorn on for Allen.

It’s stupid to say losing o hare isn’t a big blow. He has high energy on and off the ball.

Palmer shows why he’s what he is. Some excellent skill and flicks but walks more in a game than Messi - the opposite to O Hare

defence has been ok - Bidwell is containing his side well but it’s a tough ask for borroughs

he has to give up on Wilson now

These are a good team - very strong in defence and midfield. We have hardly been disgraced.
Gyo just running down blind alleys
Up against 3 decent centre backs. They still look wary of him though, and he usually gets one clear break a game. As long as we can keep it to one goal, we should have at least one clear chance, Fingers crossed - just want as many players as possible fit for the next 2 home games.

Unfortunately the level we are at. Sheffield United squad full of talent. We are threadbare having played an extra game this week. Always going to be a long day.

Last time I posted something like this he done a brilliant assist shortly afterwards:

Allen is fucking awful and I have no idea what he offers

I’ve not often seen Vik being marked as well as today though. Big strong lads at the back but they might struggle being turned
They’re getting legs in to step the ball from him as he turns. He needs to try leaving the ball behind and win some fouls so we can move the team up the pitch and he isn’t so isolated.

O'Hare off and we are struggling. Remind me of the start of the season when we struggled without him then too. Drags players away from Vik.

I think he’s already had his break, took too much time. We just don’t have a proper squad and against teams able to spend parachute payments for fun we need to be right on it to have a chance. And not enough players are today.

Palmer the best player so far
