Does actually mention a group that ratifies decisions in this article

Not liking the body language there. That right shoulder could be a millimetre or two higher, which suggests to me the burden of being a big lying smelly pants is weighing him down.

Also the fringe isn’t looking as immaculate as before, signifying a lack of funds to purchase hair spray. Looks like it’s off. Sorry everyone.

The shirt and tie with jumper hiding the tie makes me nervous as well. Screams sisu plant to me.

Does anyone know any of the following?
Is it one person at EFL who makes the decision about takeovers or is it a committee?
Do they hold meetings at intervals to process things, if so how often?
Did they work all over the Christmas holiday or if not, when did they return to work, or have they returned yet?
Apparently someone has sent answers to the EFL questions sometime during the week or so before Christmas.
If I could get answers to some of these questions I might be able to understand why we are getting so wound up about things.
The Christmas quiz was hard enough but this getting crazy.
The EFL website is still showing us in embargo, yet by all accounts it was resolved before Christmas. It doesn't sound to me that much is happening there at the moment.

Sound like nothing much happens at the EFL till the end of the holidays so we'd better hope there's a meeting scheduled for the first week back otherwise we'll be a couple of weeks into the transfer window not knowing who our owners are going to be

Certainly, this week has been pretty much ruled out due to it being the festive holiday period, coupled with the fact that a special committee is responsible for sanctioning club takeovers and is unlikely to be sitting this week.

It may be that the EFL is on short staff for Xmas period. Sounds an obvious thing to say but they must have some staff on due to games taking place and the admin involved. Does anyone know? Maybe we get a New Years Revolution - we’d expect something by now.

As for the piling on of @GIMOC, why? We’ve lost our best ITK (no offence @betterdays) but it may be that he had some sort of inside contact.
Nobody is piling on him you bloody lunatic, they're explaining the English language

So basically like everyone said it’s the dead week between Xmas and new year where no fucker is in?

I think we also need to respect how @better days has managed to be an ITK and not entirely shit the bed on here or get taken out by Seppalas ninjas. Respect BD.

It’s okay. Coventry King knows all🙏

Not wanting to be accused of being a bedwetter but if we receive a big offer for Vik and or Hamer and this drags on for another couple of weeks is there a danger of SISU getting twitchy and selling?

I think it's inevitable though given Robins statement re: Vik I think he's either going at the end of season or going in Jan but staying with us on loan.

Sisu can’t sell anybody that’s down to the ceo who might put his future in jeopardy should he do so.

Reading between the lines of robins and Viks interviews it really wouldn’t surprise me if we already have a gentleman’s agreement in place with another club for a move in the summer.

Whenever he goes it will be really difficult to get anywhere near replacing him but it’s inevitable unfortunately.

What lines were you reading between?

I am curious to read them as I really don't think in today's game agreements are made as values can fluctuate so much depending on form. If vik gets to 40 goals he will be worth X and if he scores no more he will be worth Y.

The fact Robins has said he’s not going anywhere in January and keeps referring to Jan when talking about it. Gyok saying he’s happy doesn’t want to go for the sake of it.

Just get the impression that the following transfer window they already know it’s gonna be different. Not saying a hard fast agreement has been made in terms of price etc but an understanding between club and player and possibly another club via his agent.

That would be a mugs game, if one day we are prepared to sell we play hard to get and try and get a bit of an auction going with two or three clubs involved especially if it’s correct Brighton get a slice of the fee.

Wonder what would happen if we somehow achieved the impossible?

What you’re saying and what I’m saying can both be true. They may have already had several offers/enquiries behind the scenes for him and at the moment they are happy for him to go for the top price offered in the summer or sell now with a loan back.
At the end of the day I’d love him to stay at city for his whole career but we’ve got to be realistic he’s above our level currently. You could argue if we get promoted or he does an o hare and gets injured then it may be different. Tbh if we were to go up then more than likely he will have had an unbelievable second half of the season and it would be difficult to keep him even if we went up.
Vik is ambitious himself he has said so in the past. The three clubs he’s linked with Everton, wolves and Brentford. I could see him straight into wolves team, if Toney is suspended Brentford too. Everton with maupay and Calvert lewin he’s got a bit more competition but they are doing shit at the moment.

its not really anything to do with robins in the end

if Gyokeres does not sign a new contract and the club is offered an absurd amount - say £25 million - then he goes in January

I don’t think it would take that much, they are going to be very twitchy having watched O’Hare get injured.

I agree I was more using robins quotes as example of why I think he’s going in the summer or there may be a deal already on the table rather than robins has a say on his future.

But yes defo agree it won’t be robins decision and if someone offered that in jan yes I think his exit would be accelerated.

I can’t see anyone paying anything like £25 million in January, summer maybe, January is a different window and clubs need instant return on their investment normally to save them from the dreaded drop.

We must be I assume offering a deal extension in January on enhanced pay - that will show what his intentions really are

I wouldn't be surprised if the injury to COH hasn't spooked the powers that be, and they try to offload Vik next month. A takeover might change that, but it's got to happen first.

SBB said he didn’t want to move to a Premier League club

Frankly if we are offered the money done are suggesting it doesn’t matter what he wants
