Not sure he’ll take that much convincing! Think Dom Hyam must have been on the single malt that day.Frankly if we are offered the money done are suggesting it doesn’t matter what he wants

Hoping he is that guy and William doesn’t look sane so it won’t be himI mean you'd have to actually say santa is right here for once
The same stuff as some of the kids snort in the loo at our gamesWhat is he on?
Where do you get that from ?I think O'Hare was as good as gone in January. Has thisnew injury has probably scuppered our financial plans?
We may have been able to keep Gyok as long as his release fee wasnt triggered?
But January is the time to tweek your squad, not rebuild.

but, i thought King said "NOBODY WILL BE SOLD IN JANUARY"...........I heard the same
Very big offer from Burnley
Terrible for everyone concerned but especially for COH
Football can be cruel
but, i thought King said "NOBODY WILL BE SOLD IN JANUARY"...........
To be fair that relies on King actually being in chargebut, i thought King said "NOBODY WILL BE SOLD IN JANUARY"...........
Worked with McCallum though. He played just as well on loan. That never seems to work well in my memory - was Maddison the same and was shite - I could be talking crap
By that logic even Jeff Bezos wouldn’t pass the EFL test then.Let's be honest with our self's now , this take over isn't going to happen !
It's gone on to long with the one question the EFL are asking that Doug can't answer, "where will Coventry city be playing next season " and because he can't answer that question he will be rejected by the EFL .
Only one person can answer that and he will become the next owner , like it or not.
Imo the sooner the better.

to be fair he does have a point
How can King answer that question? The current contract is only until the end of the season. Until he is approved as the owner he cant take any part in the club s affairs and not in a position to negotiate a new one.
The current owners are in no better position than King to answer that question in reality.Let's be honest with our self's now , this take over isn't going to happen !

That's very true but the EFL cannot really do anything about the current owners, what they will do is make sure any future owner has the ground situation sorted. Fraser group own the stadium and either they buy the club or the owners of the club enter into a long term contract to rent the stadium. Until either of these options happen there is zero chance of EFL approval in my opinion, but who knows.
The ‘where we play’ shouldn’t come into the ‘ownership’ of CCFC. That’s nothing to do with the assets of buying a football club.
If we rent like many clubs that’s for the club to ensure the EFL that we can fulfil our fixtures in my opinion another discussion.
Haven't got time to look it up at the moment but pretty sure there's a regulation that requires a minimum of a 10 year lease in place. But don't lots of clubs rent stadiums? And are at various stages of those leases. The EFL cannot expect certainty any more than anyone can.
Not sure that’s how it works in business especially when it’s a mutually desirable solutionHaven't got time to look it up at the moment but pretty sure there's a regulation that requires a minimum of a 10 year lease in place.
Of course the downside of that means Frasers have the club over a barrel when it's time to negotiate, if they say they want £5m a year or some other ridiculous sum what can we do? Not like the new stadium is ever likely to happen
