Just finished Tulsa King, not as good as I thought it would be, but still worth a watch. Stallone is quite convincing as a mob guy to be fair, although I doubt any of the real mob get the chance to pump as much iron as he does.
7/10

Just finished Treason. Good fun, but utterly and totally ridiculous. Complete tosh and laughable and I spent the entire show rolling my eyes are the incredulity of it all. The twist I found was obvious too.

It's so far away from any kind of reality, but, yeah, still enjoyed it.

Just leave your brain at home.

I agree, enjoyable, but far fetched. Just watched the 1st episode of 'the last of us, enjoyed it.

Same.

Just finished the first episode now. I liked it and it finished with a Depeche Mode song, so that was a nice little cherry on top.

Really looking forward to the rest of the series.

Just watched the first few episodes of Cursed on Netflix. It's along the lines of Wheels of Time and the Lord of the Rings re-write. It's not too bad so will persevere to the end!

Almost done with The After Party on Apple TV, it’s a comedy who dunnit series where each episode the story is told by a different suspect. Really enjoyed it, just got the final episodes left now so may change my mind depending on the resolution.

I'm watching The Test. A docuseries about the Australian cricket team following sandpaper gate. Done two episodes and is very good so far. On Amazon prime.

It's the winter press tour in the US so new shows are being presented and Apple look like they're continuing with their quality over quantity strategy.

All look good. The worst thing I’ve watched on there so far was Loot and it was still very watchable comedy that I went through the whole series. Finished The After Party last night and really enjoyed it. Didn’t guess the killer at all.

Watched the first episode of Last of Us. Decent start. Not quite sure how it will develop into “some of the finest tv you’ll ever see” (The Guardian) but optimistic for the rest of the series.

Spector and Mowtown on Sky Documentaries well worth a watch. Also Pepsi, where’s my jet? On Netflix (although that might be old).

Half way through the second series of 'Slow Horses'.
The writing and story line is great, the acting is fantastic and Gary Oldman is absolutely superb in it.

Also, the 3rd series of Happy Valley so far is a proper gritty drama....love it.
Slow Horses is worth it for Oldman alone, he's outstanding in it.

Got a 3 month trial of Apple TV and Slow Horses is the first thing I watched, agree with everything said here. Gary Oldman steals it but all the characters are well played and the storyline is great

I started warching Happy Valley from this current series, then over the last few weeks watched the forst and second series. I didnt realise it had jumped forward so far. Its a cracking watch, although I still see her as the barmaid in Corrie. Also watching 1899 on Netflix, from the same people who made Dark ( which I loved) but this isnt holding my attention so much. Im also finally gettong around to watching Broadchurch. Tennant, Coleman and Whittaker and McClure are fantastic.

Happy Valley is fabulous, as too was Broadchurch and you are right about Colman and Whittaker and Tennant, but I couldn't remember Vicky McClure being in it. I just had to Google just to be sure.

How weird that I don't remember her in it. Been nearly 10 years since I watched it though.

Forgot to mention Foundation, which is fabulous. Jared Harris is in it, which makes it doubly fabulous. S2 out this summer apparently.
