I think Cardiff were under the impression the whole squad were covered under there insurance policy, rather than insuring individual players.Sounds like insuring your car the day after it's nicked.

So the insurer won't pay out as they said Cardiff didn't notify them in time or add Sala to to the policy before the accident.
