Not sure about the doom and gloom, and there were a few boos at the end which were uncalled for.

Clearly the defence does not fit this formation, time to go back to 3 at the back with wing-backs. Start Bidwell and Burroughs. Start to build some confidence and momentum, and get a few bodies back. Norwich are a very good side, as were Burnley. We lost because of a freak 18 minutes where the defence didn't appear to turn up or know what they were doing.

Looking forwards to Huddersfield next week to get back to winning ways.

I'm not naive. The game was far too open and Norwich tightened it up bringing mccallum on. But we let them pass it around like a training exercise. Before their 4th I don't think we touched the ball for about 5 mins.

Nope. Gyokeres the best of a bad bunch. Hamer wasn't in the game, Allen wasn't in the game either. I thought Palmer did okay the first half and then just drifted out of the game.

Sheaf struggled in the middle of the park too.

Not making excuses for Hamer but was poor today and I’m wondering if he’s carrying an injury, but the rest of midfield weren’t on it either. But imo Norwich when flowing are the best team in the league including Burnley and they looked it today.

I fully expect to see a couple of new faces this week, King must see that we are fucked once we get a couple of injuries.
We need some experienced heads, not kids who've just gone through puberty.

Our goalkeeper is shit
Dabo looks closer to retirement than match fitness
Our most experienced CB is now Michael Rose who as CBs go is timid as hell
Our other two CBs are 19 and 22 year old loanees..
Our defensive leadership is gone with McFadz.
Allen has become not just a mainstay in the team but our captain, and he is extremely inconsistent with the ball.
We don't win the ball high up the pitch very often anymore with O'Hare out

As a team we were reliant on Gyokeres, O'Hare, Hamer and Sheaf all playing well to compete. O'Hare being out now means the other 3 have to be absolutely on fire every week. The rest of them are bottom end Champ/top half L1 players.

We were probably 3 or 4 players short before. We've brought 2 in and let 2 go. We still need at least 3, maybe 4.
