He and Panzo both had poor games to be honest.
The point being, however, that he stayed on and not Palmer because Palmer can't last a full game, and can't press and hold up the opposition when defending a lead. Again, it's not the most controversial statement in the world, is it?

(FWIW I actually thought Panzo did well second half... much to my surprise!)

Decent performance for a welcome 3 points. Nice to see Palmer on scoresheet again. Would have loved to see him and I hare in pitch together more this season.

We are super reliant on gyokres to make attacks happen though. But may aswell enjoy him whilst we have him too.

McNally great debut and good to see godden back.

4pts off playoffs. On to the next one

You missed out bottled multiple 50/50’s gave the ball away constantly and was the best player on the pitch for stopping our attacking moves.
Kept giving the ball away? 83.9% pass completion, the highest off all those that started. He set up Gyokeres for his chance in the first half with a lovely first time pass.

Not controversial no. But on balance I thought he broke down more attacks than he helped. As for Panzo, he got us into trouble through carelessness on the ball.

Big result anyway.

What are the lyrics to that? Couldn’t hear from the other end
Woke up this morning feeling fine, I've got Doug King on my mind, we got SISU OUT like we said we would, something tells me I'm into something good

Once everyone knows the lyrics it will be this year's Hamer/Vik song.

I think it was mostly because we wanted Godden on TBH. And for someone who can’t press its quite impressive Palmer made more tackles than anyone else bar the centre backs compared to
Allen’s 0 tackles and 0 interceptions.

Mark Robins and every other championship manager seems to think so.

So you by that logic agree Jamie Allen is one of the best players in the club as he’s first name on the team sheet?

He's not remotely the first name on the team sheet.

If Kane is as brilliant as you say why were Charlton his only takers? Probably with us paying a chunk of his wages.

I mean Cuffy has signed for two Championship clubs this season and Kne has signed for one L1 club.
We signed Andre Wright in League One. He ended up in Kidderminster.

We signed Adaromola in the championship.

Cuffy will be on the bench when Eccles is fit.

Yea but Allen is far more consistent, he has the exact same stats every game!

His running from five yards away from one player to five yards away from another fats! And how he’s always available to receive the ball and then immediately lose it. You just don’t understand football like some on here 😞
