Hamer, Sheaf, McNally and Gyokeres really good today.
Godden and Eccles looked up for it too when they came on

Wilson 7
BNC 6
McNally 8
Doyle 7
Panzo 5 Really put himself as well as his team under pressure
Bidwell 6
Sheaf 7
Hamer 9 MOTM
Allen 5 Broke up his own side’s play on countless occasions. Not his best day.
Palmer 7
Gyo 7

Subs not on long enough to rate, but Godden especially looked up for it when he came on and was unlucky not to score.

Who scored are opta stats right ? So they are based on actual stat based facts ? Not guesswork

Yeah. Likely cos of the ridiculous number of tackles Panzo made today, almost three times as many as Doyle and McNally.

I mean I thought panzo had a good second half anyway besides mental passes in quick succession .

He is an awkward player , never looks comfortable which can give the illusion hes having a mare .

Gus and McNally excellent. Norton Cuffy reminds me a lot of Dujon Sterling. Never looks like he's sprinting but has quite a rangey stride. Thought he did ok today. Clipped a couple of decent crosses in from the byline.

Sheaf wasnt great and you have to wonder if hamer leaves in the summer where the midfield drive will come from

Both were very good today and worked well together.

Huddersfield are well organised but didnt look like they could hurt us. But Hogg at 34 organises them so well and makes them tick. His ability to find space in midfield and pass so well under pressure is worth youngsters watching. You dont want to leak a silly goal v Huddersfield.
Overcame a tricky opponent today. After recent performances a much needed lift.

You been saying for 3 years Hamer is shite. Lol

Changed your tune recently.

Utterly clueless knob.

half a shandy again?

always rated Hamer just unlike you didn’t think he was different gravy and worth £15 million?

Also is Dabo still the best wing back in the league and worth £10 million? You said that didn’t you?

disagree i'm afraid mate, midfield was impressive today and possibly the difference. We are always in with a chance of getting something if Sheaf and Hamer have good games.

Sheaf was not a 9 though. That implies almost perfection. He was absolutely shit in the first half, so it's a crazy valuation.

Our midfield is ok, but I still cannot wrap my head around Sheaf. For me he is a very average player. He doesn't play at either drama end of the pitch though and I think therefore gets away with it. Today was a standard performance but he's getting scored 8s and 9s.

Hamer won us the game today with some unbelievable skill and he's been scored on par with someone who was missing half the game. It's ridiculous.

Norton Cuffy much better this week. More positionally aware defensively than last week. Was involved in some good play. He also put two or three good crosses in.

It was progress. He is young still learning and hasnt had chance to settle in yet.

Sheaf is absolute class. Hes going to be some player.

Our problem is Lways going to be to get the likes of Hamer/Vik/Ohare and Sheaf once they prove themselves in championship, to sign contract extensions.

Will he be worth more than the £10 million we will get for Dabo?

Wilson 7 - little to do but I thought he dealt with everything impeccably

Norton-Cuffy 5 - looks disappointingly limited so far. I wonder if it's a lack of confidence. Might be different after a few more wins.

Bidwell 7 - normal service. Excellent defensively and got forward well.

McNally 7 - good debut but will have much tougher tests

Doyle 7 - same as McNally.

Panzo 5 - awful first half, lucky not to get sent off early, but much improved second half.

Sheaf 7 - one of our better players. Some good passes, some poor.

Hamer 9 - best player on the pitch by a distance, outstanding.

Allen 5 - unacceptable. I think most would agree to be effective at this level he has to be at the top of his game and give his all. Today he seemed not to fancy it. I don't think he won one tackle and some challenges were pathetic. Running around is not enough.

Palmer 7 - similar to Sheaf. Three goals in four matches now.

Gyokeres 7 - not at his best but even at this level he is class.

Subs:

Eccles 6 - we looked far better with him there. Clever player.

Gidden 7 - lively and also brought added value.

Hamer was superb all game. MoM closely followed by Vik. Both players are too good for us so we should enjoy them whilst they’re here.

I wouldn't say either were too good for us, it's just the fact that the majority of the others are a bit shit

Thought the midfield 2 were capable of more and we needed more from that at half time. They gave us exactly that second half. When they are on it they are simply a fantastic pairing

Was a very nothing first half, but that’s credit to Huddlesfield for their set up which really restricted us.

Wilson - 7 - looked more confident and a better keeper for it.

BNC - 6 - not convinced yet. Positionally in both directions he was poor. Wasn’t the outlet or impressive offensive WB I was expecting. Hopefully it comes with time and confidence, but if not I’d prefer to develop our own player there.

McNally - 7 - solid. Like a young McFadz in some ways. Wouldn’t be surprised if we got him in summer.

Doyle - 7 - another good confident performance. His more ambitious passes don’t always work, but I don’t mind him trying them as he has the ability and it can get us up the pitch quick when it works.

Panzo - 6 - crazy 5 minutes in either half, first when he forgot how to do everything and second half when he forgot how to pass. His anticipation to win the ball is often overlooked.

Bidwell - 7 - solid and unspectacular as per.

Hamer - 8 - few passes and poor decisions in the first half but massively stepped up and drove us to victory in the second.

Sheaf - 7 - not sure I saw anymore wayward passes than anyone else. First touch and play in tight spaces is massively underrated.

Palmer - 7 - want to see him do more and be more involved, as when he’s on the ball he had the ability to make things happen.

Allen - 6 - sometimes forget he’s playing until he loses the ball! Need his energy to make up for Palmer. Hopefully Maguire has the same energy but is a step up on the ball.

Gyokeres - 8 - quiet ish but electric when on the ball.

He's a good player, but Huddersfield are absolutely fuckin shite, so it wasn't exactly a big challenge for any of our players.

(Although Panzo and Allen did a good job of making them look good)
