Does anybody else think this is weird? From the start, it's been headline news but in the meantime, hundreds if not thousands of others have gone missing.

What made it take priority from the start?

Also, people going to take selfies on the bench her phone was found at? I love true crime as much as the next person but that's weird.

It’s the circumstances. On a conference call, dog distressed, phone nearby. Not a normal missing person case AFAIK

Yes, it's the mystery of it all as much as anything else. The fact they can pinpoint her literally within seconds of her disappearance.

Whatever happened, it all seems incredibly sad.

Think we all know one thing for certain and that's Lancashire Police have made a fuck up of the investigation from the start

Insisting someone's in the river with no evidence, experts in water searches etc telling them she isn't in the river, amongst all the other evidence is ludicrous

They must know something that we don't, surely? Seems pretty barking mad that they would still be going down the river narrative after two weeks.

There was a programme on telly years ago about why, when some people go missing, it makes headlines, when others you never even hear of.
If memory serves me correctly they said that the reasons were depressingly predictable…class, race, age, ‘attractiveness’ etc etc.

As for the people going to see the scene… They interviewed one of them; he gave me the same vibe as Covid deniers…”Ive been following it on Twitter/social media and I wanted to come and see for myself/do my own research”.
It turns out the internet isn’t always great.

It's possible the police have a suspect but can't disclose that as it would hinder the investigation.

The red van theory is picking up pace

Good to see the police paying attention to it 15 days later after wasting time with the river

The press are literally treating it like a murder mystery.

"5 clues we know"

It's weird.

Why? I haven't really followed it that close.

Woman goes missing under strange circumstances. Immediate vicinity includes more or less fuck all other than:

- A river
- An 'abandoned' house
- A caravan park

Not to say they will find anything there, but at least rule it out. Why are they doing this after two weeks? Just smacks of incompetency.

All immediately involved in this are actors employed by the government. Nicola Bulley doesn’t exist, and it’s a story to take some light off how shit the government are doing.

sci-fi signs GIF

…is what I read today.

Graded as "high risk" due to "specific vulnerabilities described by Paul Ansell ".

What though?

Mental health?

Seems the police are diverting it to suicide
