What signs are they then other than idle paper gossip and speculation seemingly mostly on here, King said no big sales in January there weren’t any, Robins has quoted Vik is happy here. we have been a selling to quick and cheap club for years, we ain’t anymore, the Sheaf deal in a way proves that, he has now signed a three year extension.
We all know every player has a price even talk of Real going after Haaland and Saka being chased too, that’s football and I have doubts Vik will be here until he retires but I am fairly confident he will kick-off in our opening game next season.

Evidently there are numerous clubs in the premier league seriously interested in him, along with some European clubs that can offer him 10 times what he is on here.

And what can we do anyway? 15k a week max here probably, or 60k a week at someone like Palace? Its been known for a while that a contract has been on offer for him, if he's staying whys he not signed? Sheaf has, Wilson has, Eccles has, Fadz has.

The bloke is getting rave reviews from everywhere, and even voted THE best player in the championship. In almost 2 full seasons here he has 35 goals and 13 assists and climbing. I don't know if its blind optimism from you or what but i and many others cannot see any reason at all why he would sign, and why we wont cash in on him. £20 Million for a club like us can absolutely revolutionise our whole squad for years to come, people just assume robins doesn't want him to go, but i would argue he would also not want to miss out on the biggest payday this club has ever had to mold the whole squad into a top 6 team

Could not agree more 👍🏻, he will move for his benefit and future. As much as we would love to hold onto him, he will go and then it is up to DK how much he then gives MR to invest. £20m & add ons will be an incredible pay day for us.

Remember Brighton have some dibs on him wether that’s money or a percentage but will be a decent chunk I’d think remember who our owners were when that deal was struck.

Might be working for exactly that big pay day if he’s out of contract
Well that works 2 ways! Out of contract and he doesn’t get the approx £20m price tag, of which he is entitled to 10-15% of this. Or he gets bigger wages per week due to no signing fee, so should he get let’s say £10k more a week (1/2m more per year), which is the better ???
