Everyone still thinks Vik will be off in the summer to richer climes. But he has been vocal about wanting to stay at Coventry as he's getting game time and not just sitting on the bench and he's said his play is improving as a result. So even if Everton, West Ham or any other Prem club come calling, unless they can practically guarantee a regular first team starting spot (which I doubt most of them would), I think Vik would need some serious persuading to leave. He's more intelligent than just wanting to follow the pound signs. Here, he's getting games and he's being picked for his country. The only thing we've failed to offer him is cup success. And I'll put a massive "YET" on the end of that ;)

Which news ? If it's that Swedish outlet, they've been writing stories that he's off every time he's played for Sweden.

News saying we’ve decided to cash in on him, sounds like a new deal isn’t a goer. No doubt that’s why his names has been linked all over recently.
Slowpoke said he was going to stay, I did have my doubts

Always thought it would be a massive suprise if we kept him

Nothing’s been actually confirmed yet - why are you talking like he’s already gone? All I’ve seen everywhere is speculation

Realistically, if we don't go up, I feel Vik will go. He is, and has been voted by his peers the best player in the Championship. The wages he could get added to a life changing signing on fee will be too much for us to compete. Looking at the Brentford model, we need to replace him with players that can enhance our promotion hopes next year. We are currently in the lower income bracket of the Championship so we need the right replacements
