Man United completely bypassing Everton’s midfield and getting in time and time again but some great keeping and last ditch tackles have kept Everton in it so far!

Although Simms really should have scored for them as well.

Forest look like they're coming back down as well, Cooper is beyond reproach for their fans but he's really not done a good job this season, blessed with resource most promoted teams can only dream of.

To be fair I’m not convinced he sanctioned all of them. Seems more like the owner messing around with it Chelsea style

30 Premier league goals for Haaland, needs 5 more to break the record of most league goals in a single premier league season.

Not sure I agree, there's no way any football manager would make 20+ transfers in a season. That strikes an owner that has got involved

If it was left to Cooper and they're in the position they are now then yes he should rightly be saved, but he's not fully to blame

Not exactly a queue of top candidates to replace them though is there?

Your point is true enough.

Anyway, the worst they'll get is likely a demotion for a week or two. And Brighton get a nice apology from Howard Webb. And then next week, it'll happen to someone else because nothing's changed, and something obviously needs to.

Why does something need to change? Does a referee’s mistake ruin the game any more than a player’s mistake?

No but a player has one chance to get it right the var people have numerous chances to get it right, rarely does the error seem to benefit the smaller clubs
So just get rid of VAR - it’s so obviously not fit for purpose, but TV rights holders and armchair fans clearly adore it. Fans bleating like babies about refereeing decisions going against them have ruined the whole thing.

Or just get the users to use it correctly, maybe they need to change it so they can only see the action not which colour shirt they are wearing.
