I still don’t see why - given our experience before - we are seemingly looking for a licence and not a full lease - it would give a lot more rights and opportunities with better security

The Warwick Uni nonsense seems to have gone away so it’s odd
It does seem odd unless it's just not on offer or is subject to agreement on paying for accrued dilapidations. Agree on the face of it though feels like a potential missed opportunity.

As above. Please can we have some serious questions about how the SAG/club/fans are going to work together to continue the good atmosphere.

Is there any option of opening Block 13 as the demand for sitting in the corner is so high?

Will the club actively engage with Fraser's to consider safe standing?

This has always been something burning away at me. We should have home fans behind both goals always. Like we had at Highfield road. For me, it makes a massive difference. Push the away fans into the corner.

Oh ok then - great job representing the fans as always Pete, thanks for giving us a voice
Being a sarcastic pr*ck to someone that's giving up their time and energy to try and make a difference seems like a sh*t thing to do. Sounds like the issue's been raised and the message back is there's nothing coming. Not much he can do other than ask the question and give you the answer.

Asking the question is literally his job - if the self-appointed fans rep isn’t going to even bother following up on promises made to ST holders a few months ago then he may as well save himself the trouble and stay in and watch TV instead. (I just started Andor, it’s very good)

Never going to happen.

I wasn’t aware there had been an answer

Not great PR when the club will soon be announcing an inevitable price increase

to be honest many clubs do a lower price for renewals, they could tie it in with that -
keeping most of the 13000 would be a good achievement especially if we could then add a few new ones

There’s a few teams who’ve frozen ST prices - it doesn’t have to be set in stone that prices will go up everywhere.

Have they had the recent price history we’ve had?
Don’t know - I doubt it. In some cases, those other clubs have reacted to fans organising and demanding the club keeps ticket prices in check. Of course, if our fans don’t even want to contemplate a scenario where ticket prices don’t rise, then they’ll just go up, no questions asked.

Questions on food, car parking, safe standing, toilets will be batted off because we still don’t own the stadium.

Frasers group will obviously spend didily and King won’t be giving Frasers money to upgrade the stadium!

I think they’re going to have to. Though even an extra £100 per ticket (which we wouldn’t get) only adds £1m to the budget.

Sure, if that’s your mentality, up they go all round I guess. It’s Cov, innit.

Im just saying we’ve improved the product significantly without much price increase and have a new owner who has been clear about the need to grow revenue. It’s going to happen and it’s one of the more justifiable decisions. I’m just also aware that it’s peanuts compared to owner investment or commercial improvements.

Sure - I just don’t think there’s anything wrong in advocating for price increases to be implemented in the fairest way possible, or even questioning whether they’re totally necessary across the board. You can shrug and say “Well the owner needs his revenue from somewhere/At least we were getting a good deal before” if you want - other clubs’ fans haven’t, and some of them have even got results out of it. Funny what proper fan organisation can do.

Given that Boddy either doesn’t answer or lies about footballing questions too then what’s the point of the group?

It would be excellent to ask the club if they could have a proper JSB event next season. Most fans realise there were extenuating circumstances with our start and the world cup that there was not time to find a weekend for the normal party. However next season it needs to be properly organised and if that means a charge of £5 per attendee that is fine. In years gone by its been an amazing event with kids meeting multiple players and having lots of fun with bouncy castles and other games. If as Boddy suggests it's harder to organise as we have 1500 JSB's a £5 cover charge would bring in about £7,000 to coordinate the day. Online booking system and 1 hour slots etc would make it manageable.
