Really hard one to rate, proper game of 2 half's. Some players who had great spells also had awful spells like bnc.

Overall thought sheaf was very good, hamer and gyokeres also good. Though JWE was a threat in 2nd half but had a lot of stray passes, Doyle similar.

This just isn't true , I agree his spell here in general has been pretty poor .. but today he was a threat for much of the game .. first 20 minutes he was a bit meh .. his delivery first half was also a bit meh ..

Godden lucky goal or well placed we will never know but up to that point he was largely anonymous..If we are lucky enough to get promoted Godden is way too slow for the prem unless we have some players to create more with intelligent passing he has done well for us but time is not on his side...Eccles would also be surplus as would Allen too so lets be real and stop trying to prove who has the biggest dick on here...We all love our team but we all have our own ideas rightly or wrongly

Some batshit criticism of Vik again I see. Thought he had a very good second half. He's missed 2 efforts from outside the box, both of which he created himself with some excellent play. Another assist too.

The two WBs played well and Godden scored, what’s a grumpy fan to do

Edit - also hard for Vik when every time he turns a defender they foul him. Watford shared the yellows around well.

You know I looked, expecting it to be a five or something you were upset at, but it seems to be a seven? I mean that's a rating that says he played well, doesn't it? And isn't it fair that he was totally anonymous first half? And sure, I'm with you in that that isn't necessarily his fault, he's got Gyokeres there atm who hates passing, wants to play in the same space, and needs a partner who's happy to just give him the ball whereas what Godden needs is Gyokeres to make space with his strength, and actually pass to him isn't it!

If it was just for second half maybe it'd be harsh, but half the ratings on this site always seem coloured (to me) by what happens in second half rather than overall.

Thought he a lot better second half, a couple of great bits of defending to stop Watford on the break. Whole team stepped up intensity after goal, just frustrating it takes that to see it…but also probably why we’ll come up just a bit short this season

If you want to say Godden and Allen are about the same level I think you’re being harsh on Godden but I’ll take it. For me at the level we are at you need a bit more about you, I suspect Eccles will be in that group too. Sheaf, Hamer, Vik, Cal, McNally are on a different level to the likes of Wilson, Allen and Godden and I’ll make no apologies for wanting more of the former and less of the latter.
