so if we win the next 2

we would be on 65
Blackburn 65 Max (with game in hand)
Assume Norwich dont win at Middlesbrough 65 max
Millwall playing preston next, so even if that is a draw, they will both be on 66 max

QPR is now a must win, and then Blackburn becomes even more important

Blackburn also still have to play Millwall and Preston

its a big ask, but 4 wins before the end of the season including beating blackburn I think will be enough

You'd imagine with playoff aspirations , we're now at the stage where we have to win the next 2 , when you consider blackburn are in the playoffs

And 3 games ago we would have needed a win at least?

We got only 2 points from last 3 games yet we are still in there. Nobody knows what will happen next. That's why the bookies are rich. It isn't down to just our results.

One game at a time. Other results are just as important as our own.

No wonder you’re not rich with your betting history

I think when you consider we are chasing Blackburn, we have to try and win there to close the gap they have a game in hand ..

A win at QPR feels like a necessity..

Retired at 54 and poor?

You don't half chat shit. So why do you keep getting banned from here when you're so desperate to be liked by others?

My chosen charity will greatly appreciate your money

I agree. But we could win our next game and be exactly where we are now. That's why the other results are just as important as our own.

And my charity will get my money whoever wins. Because you will just have yet another name change if I win. That's why you refused to let anyone else hold the bets.

Why would anyone hold the bets? Just weird

Just as weird as someone calling for a taxi for a couple of years for a manager who has taken us from the old Division 4 to a chance of promotion to the top flight.

I wonder who that supposed knowledgeable person was 🤔

How on earth does that relate to someone wanted £50 held in some independent account? It’s weird

You're right for once.

How can someone be as thick for wanting to know a charity bet will be paid up by someone who has had several different user names on here as someone who wanted to get rid of one of if not the best managers we have ever had?

Im fairly certain that, even if I do get banned, @Nick will allow me to post one last time with confirmation of my payment. I hope you win the bet👍

If only I had faith in you paying up.

So why do you keep getting banned?

Beat Blackburn away and then who knows, but that's far easier said than done.

One thing I think has been missing since the international break with the exception of the 2nd half today is belief. The team haven’t had the air of play off contenders more of a team that has had a good season and cemented another campaign in the Championship happy to play the remaining fixtures out. It has been a good season to be fair.

So what now? Well it’s not a bad position. It’s shit or bust, no pressure, yet. I hope we go out in the remaining games and play with belief. Not tiptoeing about, not tentative. 4 wins required against some teams under pressure and some with nothing to play for. So not gung ho but aggressive and on the front foot. Better down in flames than out with a whimper

Blackburn is almost certainly a 'must win' game as it neutralises their advantage over us. QPR is also a 'need to win' game but a draw and Blackburn win gives us a reasonable chance of playoff's. City are very capable of winning remaining two home games.

Assuming DWWW, leaves us 69 with one game to go. 72 points may well give us a play off spot. If you are trying to get promoted you have to win some tough games ie Middlesboro

Hopefully we get our highest points and position since relegation in 00/01 and at a minimum not have the dismal collapse like 01/02 and finish 11 or 12th.

Last 12 games:- W5 D6 L1, that must surely give us some confidence to be getting a decent return from the next 5?
I reckon beat QPR, draw Blackbum, beat Reading and Brum and draw on the last day at Middlesbrough.

No one mentions Sunderland but their fixtures aren’t horrendous with a big last game and they’ve got their act together after the Stoke debacle

I don't know this charity backstory but I feel like boosh goes for him in every thread just to start an argument.

Bit rich coming from you

Between Norwich in 7th and West Brom in 11th, all have identical form with 6 points over the last 5 games. That includes us and Sunderland.
Millwall and Blackburn have worse form over those games, but Blackburn and West Brom have a game in hand.
5th & 6th up for grabs though.
