Yup, ours is cheap too. About £55 and it's great.Got a cheap one and they're great pieces of kit.
I'd imagine the ninja is outstanding.
There's only the two of us in the house for much of the time now but echo what Tony says, if you've got kids in the house get a double.

Hoping they are worth it , what's the consensus on here ?
Way less than a standard oven. Once it's up to temp (id say 2 minutes max to get to 180⁰) the heating element seems to be off more than it's on, it's also generally faster at cooking whatever is in there. I think "air fryer" is a misnomer tho, it's more of a tiny fan oven. Well mine is at any rate. What's the energy usage of it? Anyone put one of those smart meter things on it and worked out the cost?

Had one a few years ago, single basket, but didn't use it much as with 4 adults and occasionally grandkids popping in, it was easier to do stuff in a large oven, grill etc ... or fry stuff and keep it warm in the oven while the next bit got fried. Gave it to the lad and his wife when they moved out.Have just purchased one

I assume you have to buy mini pizzas or make your own.Splendid piece of kit for two - cooks pizza properly - no more soggy bottoms - we get chip shop chips and keep them in the freezer , they come out perfectly - chicken kyivs in a little foil pouch wrapped up - baked spuds - 5 mins in microwave then into the air fryer to crisp the skin up beautiful the only downside is cooking in batches if you have more people
Are they good for vegetarian meals? Trying to think of ideas and can't get beyond a baked potato

Not sure bamboo canes would work in an air fryer...Are they good for vegetarian meals? Trying to think of ideas and can't get beyond a baked potato
Just done the kids some chicken bites and some fries and I have to say it was very good
Looking to set up a helpline for underused Ovens !I never thought I would read on here, a bunch of blokes enthusing over an air fryer
Including myself by the way
