Seriously has anyone ever placed a bet based on the back of a shirt sponsor? Or for that matter ever bought anything due to shirt sponsor.
I bet alcohol sales plummeted after they were dropped.
If gambler's want to bet they'll bet.
Is Doug going to close the Casino also.

I changed my betting company to Boyle when they became sponsors from WH but gave up as I am shit at betting.

I ended my Vodaphone contract due to their support of wasps.

Neither of these made a big difference but I felt better at the time.

Adult season tickets for the 21/22 season £299 Ricoh return package, 22/23 £345, 23/24 £460? £20 per match?

That would be a terrible price. Many ST holders who cant go to evening games will do the maths and realise it's more like an average of £26 a game and consider pay as you go.

If Doug gets this wrong I am going to start to loose faith in him. As posted by someone the other day Blackburn, Huddersfield and a few others have frozen or reduced prices.

Increase the premium seats 10% and keep Everything else the same.

I find it weird that the tickets are a flat rate, if they bumped the price up for the centre blocks and kept the corners the same rate and reduced behind the goals would be OK I think.

I also think its mad(but good) that kids get a season ticket for £25. My takeaway from the comments was that this is what they'd be looking at.

It's all academic, the best way to generate revenue is buy low and sell high. Hopefully they have their ducks in a row and have a plan for the Vic moneys if we don't get promoted.

I’m amazed people are going on about safe standing and not looking at an underlying message it’s down to supporters to increase any transfer budget by funding it themselves

I think there would be a fair few the same. Kids are literally our next generation, look at the amount of kids nowadays wandering round in Cov kits, the amount of kids at games etc. A world away from the depths of 6 years ago when my son was the only boy in his primary school who was a proud cov fan.

Depends how it’s sold and whether the community can get behind it.

Probably not very well if fans again back the club in record numbers and again the manager has to work on peanuts

I get some of what Doug is saying such as no gambling sponsor and he’ll invest in infrastructure but club needs to be self sufficient on playing side.

However getting more concerned at the delay in CBS deal and hints of significant price rises.

I accept season tickets have been cheap since we returned although they needed to be after playing away to help rebuild the fan base.

Could accept mine going up £50 and even JSB rising to £50 but people with 2-3 kids are going to struggle with that especially if both parents go.

Rather than tell us to back the club again let’s see Doug put his hand in his pocket make some statement signings in the summer and if we look like we’re really going for it bang the prices up the season after.

Hard for the club to play hardball on price with 12k free seats each week.

I couldn’t grumble at a slight increase on my ST - The £15 per game I paid this season is excellent value and probably not representative of the quality of football I have watched at times

To give over 3000 JSB season tickets away for next to nothing whilst admirable is absolutely mad from a business point of view, there can’t be many clubs at our level who do that, if any

From the moment he took over the club it was never expected that King was going to throw millions about on new players and we would mostly remain a self sufficient club, things would just be better ran than under the previous owners - So I don’t get why people are kicking up a fuss about that now

Interestingly they said that safe standing wouldn't contribute to any loss in capacity due to the steepness of the stands. Considering the hill you were dying in in the 'South Stand' thread, do you have any comments for Doug?

I really don't understand why so many people are cucking for a price increase. If the board read this forum they'd almost feel inclined to lift the prices based on fan feedback alone.

I don't have a season ticket, and live abroad, but looking in from the outside this all looks ridiculous.

The cheap junior tickets are to not only get the adults in who have to take them, but also to capture those games early so they buy a ticket themselves later rather than just watch Man Utd on the telly.

With regard to the JSB tickets, presumably they are accompanied by adults paying full price! We need to tread carefully here, as you can't put a value on capturing your future support early, and until we reach a point that we can sell out the ground, 'giving away' tickets to that demographic makes perfect sense.

Otherwise I think a £400 season ticket is a fair early bird price, rising up no higher than £450 thereafter. I'm also fine with concession rates for students and young adults remaining in place, but am not so sure about over 60's, many of whom are probably more than able to pay a full cost ticket.

People / the club saying that the 2500 JSB £25 ST's are too cheap, you only get that alongside a full paying adult

If they decided to put them up to say £100 for the season, along with the rise of the rumoured £50 for an adult ST, that would be me paying £200 more. Bearing in mind the kids cant make night games (with their mum in the week) and we dont go then it doesnt become financially worth it for me so i would pay per game

I'm certain i wouldn't be the only one
