In a bad mood , got to the burger van , ordered a drink , walked on a bit , heard an almighty roar and it was that loud I actually thought blackburn had scored again , until a copper said to me " its 1-1 "

Long story short ..

I left early and missed the goal

You didn’t miss much.
We did learn that Wilson needs to work on his goal celebrations

Just got in at 3.15.

Absolute limbs and carnage in the 95th minute. And the M6 wtf is going on.

We got back to Warwick at 2:15. Fucking M6 and that massive detour because of the closure between J16-J15.

Saw the goal though!

horrific journey back. Getting out of Blackburn was bad enough, followed by country lanes which felt like an eternity before encountering the overturned artic before we were due to finally get on the m6. 2:30 I got in the door.

was worth it for that moment though 🤩

I was there for it but sitting with the home fans wasn’t fun

Got to be honest, I left five mins early at the Stoke game…took the risk !

Fair play to Evo and all those who went last night, especially with the motorways at the moment. Leaving at 1-0 is always going to be risky though ! We were all over them at the end

What a fucking nightmare getting back, and to top it all artic overturned on island just before rejoining the M6. we ended up heading for Shrewsbury and getting onto the M54 near Wolvo and back on M6 above Walsall. I didn't get in until 1.45, and my son and s.i.l had to go back to Rugby after that. Spur of the moment decision to go, I was at a funeral wake and dragged away in me posh togs, but I'm so fucking glad they did.

Stoke was understandable but still wouldn’t do it personally. Last night we were camped in their box for the last 5-10 mins, had 3-4 consecutive corners and a couple of free kicks around the box. And in a critical, potentially season-defining game. Bizarre.

Never ever understand people who leave when their team can still get something out of the game. Imagine paying £40-50 for a ticket in the Prem and not watching the match till the end 🤔

NEVER leave before the end.As "old big head" used to say "it only takes a second to score a goal".Missed one once at the begining of League Cup game in 1965 held up on the M6.We lost 6-1 baggies taunted us that night saying we would never get in division 1 spent 34 seasons there and who knows.

Did you pop out into your garden after the Arsenal WFC game on TV?

At least he has a garden David - guess that’s on your bucket list

That journey back would have killed me off without the equaliser beforehand. What's with the constant one lane at every junction on the M6!!!
