Its Gyokeres all the way - and rightly so

Embarrassing to even suggest Hamer. No doubt he’ll win it due to recency bias

Hamer would have a good chance without the early red cards and missed games, but taking that into account it has to be Gyokeres.

Both have been instrumental. It could be argued that Gyokeres has carried us the most but Hamer's attitude, from the outside seems better and team spirit and togetherness is what has got us to where we are today. On that basis I voted Hamer.

Anyone who says either is clearly better than the other is a WUM or clueless.

Without Hamer running midfield and the balls he puts in Gyokeres would have scored much less. And Hamer has scored some great goals. And we would be mid table at best without the goals from Gyokeres, many he set himself up with.

How can you compare with two different positions? Gyokeres is by far our best striker and Hamer by far our best midfielder.

Gyokeres edges it for me. Think Hamer will win though.
I think your right.

Gyokores has been that slight bit more consistent over the season. When you consider he has barely missed a game many mins And plays the full 90 mins it's pretty phenomenal.

Gyokores has also won a couple of pens too that are not counted in his stats.

Hamer has recently stepped it up to another notch tho.

Both 2nd and 3rd in championship assists table.

It has to be Gyokeres, he's been so good we've changed style to just get it to him quickly, and hope he can dribble round their defence. He's got the goals to get us up there, and even when people say he's had a bad game, he's trashed the opposition's defence!

Hamer's recent form has also carried us, but start of season he didn't - he was a bit of a liability being sent off, and we also missed him for a number of games because of that. he can also go off the boil far more easily.

That all is only in comparison to Gyokeres's season of course, compared to the rest of the team he's been superb.

Who actually judges this anyway?

probably - Andy Marshall won it once
tbf he was bloody good that season, and had plenty of chance to shine, too(!) No argument there whether the defence was helping him out or not!

How can the player widely regarded as the best in the whole division not be voted his own clubs pots
Give Gus his due though, he's been phenomenal these last 10 or so games

Just waiting for grendel or boosh to come on and say they only stand out cause the other 9 on the pitch are league 2 standard
That's extreme, but it is fair to say they've carried us however. Especially Gyokeres, he's allowed us to play conservatively, and hope he conjures something up to give us some punch.

Without them we'd be nowhere near where we are.
