Not sure how they're policing it but this is in the T&Cs in the email:

6. The voucher code is only valid for use by the person to whom it was issued and cannot be transferred or sold to anyone else.

Seems a bit ridiculous seeing as many of us are willing to gift them to people who could make better use of them.

The away kit was 30% off last week, I was waiting to use the voucher to cover delivery. I see they've stopped that :ROFLMAO:

Club can be under any owner.....they'll still try and grab as much money from us as possible....its a business at the end of the day but their approach on things like this is soo wrong.

Driver for vouchers is to sell more stock....using the start of the season fuck up as an excuse to say this is a sort of an apology.

They should've left the vouchers alone. Got the discounts/sales in for Easter weekend and with the interest in the City sell even more shirts......hoping more parents will buy for kids.....wear top as we're doing well.....get more interested in the City.....more likely to continue to support the City...etc etc....or am I missing something???

Or even some supporters buying a 2nd or third kit for this year.....still make money out of it surely?

Anyone know the mark up based on full price?

£5 off anything you purchase in the shop... but there's a slight problem...there is nothing to buy in the shop. (Got the shirts before anyone mentions it!)

Only valid until 21st May as well so not like it can go towards next season's shirts etc.

I don't think it's the anger about a company wanting to sell more. To me it's the way it's being portrayed, here's a £5 voucher for what went on at the start of the season, knowing full well most people who go to the store or go online, will end up buying something for £20 or £30. It's a marketing ploy, let's not wrap it up as anything else

Love that people are angry about a company trying to sell more.
Behave, I'm all for the club progressing as a business, but dont hide it behind what was supposed to be a good will gesture.

30 loyalty points just added too.

Forgot about the points being added, gets me over the 1,300 mark at least. More important than the seemingly worthless fiver, I can’t even pinch my son’s as it’s one per person 🙄

Free money and people are moaning. You couldn’t make it up.
Free money? Club shop money! My own money I was never going to spend, but am forced to in order to redeem the 'gift' Couldn't make it up.
