Welcoming the lads on Saturday! (5 Viewers)

Think we should all get there early on Saturday to welcome the lads before they get to the ground. Make a great noise and show the lads how much they mean to us!

What time do they get there? Bus entrance isn't far from Dhillons/casino/anecdote so plenty would be happy to go! Get the flares going be a good laugh

They come in at 1ish I think, they come in dribs and drabs in their cars

Believe they arrive about 1pm! Even if we could even get a few hundred there it will be class! The only problem could be that there cars come past the blues fans enterance?

This is a great idea, we did something similar for when the team coach arrived at Notts County away Playoff semi and apparently it really pumped the players up.

Let's get this idea out there!

If results go against us, this could potentially be the last home game of the season. So yes, it would be great to welcome the players beforehand. Could even hype them up and remove whatever nervousness they have built up.

But at the same time, we need to keep the fans off the pitch at the end of the game (and during it as well ??!! :p ). It's become a tradition that the players, family and support staff go around and applaud the fans and with the biggest crowd this season on the books, it would be an amazing atmosphere.

Sod off. I always get there early to get my parking space so I don't want to have to go extra early just to secure!

If it's not broke, don't fix it. We already have one of the best home atmospheres in this division.

I’ll be there anyway, my boy loves to watch them all arriving. Saturday just gone there was a lot more fans than usual there to greet the players, should have seen the look on the players faces when they got out their cars! I would imagine this Saturday will be very busy.

Does anyone know what time Robins usually arrives as my lad wants to see him. We usually get there around 1ish and see virtually all the players, we did get there around 12:40 once hoping to meet Robins but still didn’t see him.

What are the players like with the fans on the way in? Do they interact? Do they revel in it or are they more just taken back? Any players in particular stand out for good or bad reasons?

Genuinely intrigued!

I think we should be there at the end and give them a standing ovation whatever the result. Every player in the squad deserves it. And stay in your seats!!

They’re good to be fair to them, the only one who always seems like he’s ‘got to’ do it is Gyokeres at times, although that might be harsh. Players like Eccles and Burroughs I always get the impression they can’t quite believe it and love it. But majority of them are fine and will happily sign autographs, have photos and will have a laugh and joke with the kids. Waghorn would sometimes do rock, paper, scissors with the kids.
