Ive heard around that figure from a few places TBF.
Got a link to that?
Fuck me , 5 years ago, took an ex to her 1st ever football match, all she did was complain about being coldFive years will fly by. Got one of those photo memory things on my phone just now. Five years ago I was at Waddam Road seeing us stick six past Cheltenham.

I think the bargain basement original return deal was £300k wasn’t it? Or have I made that up? Id imagine coming back in the Championship it would be a bit more.
Got to wonder exactly how much net benefit the whole thing has had for the club.
Long term the £1.2m wasn’t sustainable and the club was being taken advantage of.
Hmm. Five years keeps the swod of damocles hanging over us. Will we ever end up with a home?!?
If it had worked, would have been fine in the end... but it didn't, so it wasn't.I agree.
But they took the approach that made matters worse not better.
Like cutting off your foot because on an ingrowing toenail
A longer deal.again what’s the alternative?
Whilst agreeing a longer deal would be preferable surely Fraser group must also know that an anchor tenant is required and what’s the sensible alternative there?A longer deal.
No but thought it was what was said at the time we were offered Vile Park cheaper.Got a link to that?
And it's all because of the great song we have for himAfter all the problems we had with SISU please give Mr King a chance. The situation since he has taken over has been much more stable. I'm just glad it was't them doing negotiations for the ground .They had no negotiation skill any meeting they went into it was "we want" and if they tried that with Frasier Group they would not have lasted ten seconds . We would have become nomads for a year or 2 plus had points deducted give him at least till the summer and even longer.I don't know about you but already since he has come in there is a much more positve outlook.I know some is to do with what going on on the pitch but the upgrading of Ryton that is something unheard of in SISU times as for the Premier League money how much would Mark have seen out of that.
Don’t get me wrong - he’s got a clean slate with me. Not to mention fans who have left and who's trust we have to win back.Has cost the club millions hasn’t it ??
That damn swod lolHmm. Five years keeps the swod of damocles hanging over us. Will we ever end up with a home?!?
That indicates to me that maybe the Fraser group would like to be more involved in the future? Why 5 years?? Dust settles, they see the progress and the income and make their move. That damn swod lol
Don't wanna be negative but the Twitter reaction has been nauseating.
Tweets like these are utter bollocks.
SISU gave new deals to O'Hare and Hamer
Kept Robins
Signed a CBS deal double the length of King's
King has done nothing that SISU couldn't/didn't do.
Frightening that you could glean that negativity from his interview.Cannot believe what I heard from him, ‘in 5 years we might lose all our players and be in league one with 9k rocking up’ it’s literally your job to prevent that you bellend.
He did say that right at the start, just past the minute mark.Frightening that you could glean that negativity from his interview.

I heard the interview, that you can cherry pick that out of context when he was giving a what can happen scenario for agreeing a five year deal. The rational of his interview was that two new partners looking for a longer term future but hey shit can happen. Bellend? That’s what you get for putting our club on a more secure footing. He said it not me

That seems to suggest to me that at least one of the parties involved here doesn’t plan to be sticking around…It is envisaged that the new licence agreement will provide the respective parties with flexibility to continue to refine their future strategies at the Arena with a view to entering into a long-term partnership.
Non of it down to Doug King the bellendThis time last year we had a 10 year deal and now we have 5. Rejoice

A longer deal.

That would be the opposite surely? A longer licence would increase the value of his assetIt could be that the 5 years element is because King himself doesn't want to commit to more than 5 years as owner?
