Boro are nothing special.

I think Blackburn get at least a point against Milwall which sees us in barring a heavy defeat.
I can actually see Blackburn winning this one. They have had three near misses lately, haven't they, in the games against us, Preston and now Luton, so I think they will be totally fired up for this encounter and they are very quick on the break.

I can well see them winning, which really suits us.

It’s quite amusing how people have been talking Middlesbrough up for months, saying they’re favourites for the play-offs etc. yet if we beat them on Monday we’d finish the season on 2 points behind them.

I’m nervous, we play well up there but never get anything, just hope that’s going to change next week

That has to change at some point, and when you look at Wilson's goal, etc, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's meant to be.

No such thing. I think if we make it, we’ve made it a year early personally and would back both Luton and Boro to go up ahead of us.

Remember that CCFC board member who had a punt on City to win the cup in 87 before a ball was kicked? Some things just happen against all the odds.

I see it as being where we would be anyway with proper owners for the last 3 transfer windows.

Actually think Middlesbrough are pretty vulnerable atm. Giles and Ramsey are big misses in terms of creativity and without Howson they lack stability. No doubt they’ll have players back but we should be more than good enough to beat them. Would actually like them in the play offs as well - then us and Sunderland in the final (also beatable).

It’s a bit like Deepdale - we have a poor record there. 12 games and 3 draws and 9 defeats that’s making people concerned

Blackburn have lost 1 of their last 14 v millwall
Sunderland have not won in their last 7 v preston

so if you are looking at our record v Middlesbrough, surely one of these will carry on
