All the way to 25 by the sounds of it
ok we get it, you'd defend it even if everyone had to give doug a reach around before being allowed to purchase a season ticketJust browsing other prices and interested to see that Sunderland don't allow kids in their 'Singing area' and from what I can see, all other clubs have over 65s and not over 60s.
My issue isn’t price. It will cost be a fair bit more. But they’ve closed the block I’m in to season tickets. We are there specifically because it’s where my dad chose. He has anxiety and mobility issues and now he’s said he won’t be going next season.

but in the real world it's got a lot shitter for a lot of people
you aren't getting it lad, it's gone so far over your headHaha!
I'm seeing both sides. I get the anger about moving but am equally baffled people are shouting from the rooftops that you can sit behind a goal for £250 in the Championship/PL.

most kids won't want to move so their parents will have to decide to fork out loads more or knock it on the head
I bet 80% of the kids aren't bothered as long as they still get to go.you aren't getting it lad, it's gone so far over your head

i bet you are as per usual wrongI bet 80% of the kids aren't bothered as long as they still get to go.
once again you are not in the same universe as the pointEven with that, the club are offering a season ticket for £250 for an adult. Is there a cheaper adult season ticket in the top 3 divisions, including family zones?

By doing that though the atmosphere in the corner will dramatically be reducedIt's clearly a move to make it unaffordable for teens in the corner. Possibly to clamp down on anti-social behaviour.
They won’t be sold ticketsI’m in Block 20 so had the big price increase. I think it’s over the top with the cost of living crisis and it being close to a 250 mile round trip for me. Going to the games is really the only time I get to spend with my son (He’s 28 and has a life) so have paid for the Premiership package. What’s another £20 after they have already hit me for £130.
I have sponsored 2 players shirts for the last few season but this will have to stop now as it’s all getting too expensive.
Overall feeling a bit let down and think there will be less season tickets sold. I also think there will be loads of people in the family section without kids.
I messaged my 13 year old earlier and told him we would be moving to the family zone behind the goal (currently sit in 20) and he responded with “I would rather sit there than not go”. I don’t think kids care where they sit.I bet 80% of the kids aren't bothered as long as they still get to go.

But they’ll reopen it to season tickets as soon as they have a handle on how big the Family zone needs to be. So if you’re in 25,26,27 I’m guessing you should be ok. If near the currently designated family zone it could be a problem as that will probably expand

If they register an under 14 they can get a season ticket for £300. They will do that and mysteriously be in there without the kid, sitting with their mates. They won’t be sold tickets
Next season you will be reimbursed the money you paidThe Premier League ticket thing is a bit confusing.
What happens if we get promoted this season? When do you get the free one?
Not sure the logic works on that. We're being told kids will refuse to sit there and go where the tickets are more expensive as they don't want to sit in a section full of kids but a load of adults without kids will go to the trouble of registering a kid and buying a ticket for them so they can go and sit in the same area people are saying will be shit and nobody will want to go inIf they register an under 14 they can get a season ticket for £300. I’d make representations to the club and ask whyYep, seriously pissed off. Have perfect seats behind the goal above the steps where 10 of us sit across 2 rows and have done for the past 2 years. Prices are fine, personal annoyance but sure others will be in the same boat.
It’s much cheaper in the family zone come onWell bring the prices up gradually, the issue is the jump in costs that people who take their kids etc as many have said it this thread have pointed out.
It's a proper shambles
It will be extendedOnly if you can buy in the small corner area designated for families. Will sell out quick
it will be the same people using JSB tickets to get in now. Think they are clever getting a season ticket for £100 cheaper. Not sure the logic works on that. Having spent a season sat behind a 2 Dads with their sons I can't think of anything worse
It’s much cheaper in the family zone come on
It will extend to meet demand it’s been confirmedIt’s not, and could be a great atmosphere but the area could be too small, we have see a real resurgence these last few years with children and families attending, once hooked like so many are now, they are the future full paying adults so I think the area should be expanded to deal with the capacity required, if not, then that is a real financial penalty on some families.
I think you’re wrong I think we’ll sell more than last seasonBut saying to my 2 kids we're moving from block 16 to a family section at the opposite end of the ground will have a hugely negative impact on their matchday experience. Don't mind paying a small premium for staying where we are, but it's a huge difference.
We'll end up paying the extra, but two mates of my son who came with us this season won't be able to next season as their parents won't pay the extra.
People can defend these prices if they like, but I hope those same people don't moan when crowds fall.
It will extend to meet demand it’s been confirmed
Could but I think the tickets will sell very very quickly and once the other blocks are opened people will be able to move them and willGreat. But conversations I’ve already had with friends is about waiting for the demand to be confirmed to end up nearer the middle. Back where we were. Could end up stifling demand.
