I do think it'll go that way, providing they can get the numbers in plus there will be less empty seats. My first impression would be the atmosphere would get better not worse in singers corner.
How? If they let people start to buy tickets mayve but if they continue like this season there will just be less people in there

No, how much they spend on something vital has fuck all to do with how much more they think they can afford to pay to watch football.

Nothing at all and is as I said the same shite tories trot out when questioned on why people can't afford important stuff
Fair enough you don’t understand how to discuss different opinions politely I understand now

I am not going to be polite when someone brings out that kind of vile shite to make a point.

How much or if someone has a phone has absolutely zero to do with this conversation and it was wrong of you to bring it up.

End of story really

and? a phone is more vital than a season ticket so what does it matter if someone has one?

Don't people budget on all of their outgoings and decide?

Yeah a phone nowadays is important, a season ticket to me is more vital than the latest phone for example. Happy to have an older phone until it breaks and be able to afford a season ticket.

It's the same when people I know say they can't go to games because they can't afford the 7 beers, the overpriced food and then £20 for the fruit machine in the pub after as well as the ticket price.

(Not just on about going to the football either, same as people who can't say they are going for a beer because they will end up spending £500)

Good for you, how much someone pays for a phone is still fuck all to do with this conversation.

Not really
You think it’s vile
I think considering how much other items cost and how we budget a huge part of the discussion
And it’s only end of if you can’t engage as a sentient being
Hey ho

Yes it's the same shite the tories come out with.

If you think it is okay then it's says a lot more about you than it does me.

It's proper " if you're on the dole you shouldn't have a TV " mentality

If they came out and said 1000 for adults 400 for kids , people would still be arguing it was fair because some at Fulham pay it

" it's only 140 a month for 10 months "

It was only my first impression.

This season there were always plenty of empty seats (I'm guessing JSB tickets), plus you had the end of the rows unsold. It looked sparse at times, a couple of games my row was barely half full. Not like the season before, sure there was over crowding and you could never actually get to your seat but I loved that.

Theres no way (I hope) that they'll let it get any worse without selling on the day.

I sit in there and yes there are empty seats and there will be more empty seats unless they actually allow new people to buy tickets in there

I agree as well, prices are less than I thought they would be but the JSB and OAP parts have been massively fucked up
60 year old senior concession was always an anomaly, I remember going to Port Vale years ago when I was benefiting from the senior concession here but there’s was 65. 60 isn’t OAP age now and, as far as I recall, hasn’t been for some time. I was nearly 67 when I got my state pension.

Honestly my biggest issue with the family stand idea is the noise that comes from there sounds like a gaggle of chipmunks and not a m’n intimidating wall.

yes but it would of been fairer to in crease it by a year each time and then you don't suddenly have a load of people having to pay hundreds more

Isn't an adult and a kid in the family zone cheaper with us?

This is Rotherham

Yes, but a lot more expensive everywhere else.

I think those prices are spot on. If that was announced for us I’d take that all day long. Fact is. My eldest now has to pay £300 to sit with me. He’s still at school! Whereas Rotherham he’s be only £155. Half the price

I think the argument is that these fans at these clubs can sit pretty much all over the stadium .. we are being pigeon holed into the creche

Hardly crammed in anywhere.

My example was Rotherham, where it's pricey everywhere with no option to have a really cheap option in a certain area.

I am engaging with a point you made Pete, I have been talking about a point you made.
Am I going mad? Says more about me than it does you?
Mmmmm ok
So when you are saying season tickets are expensive it’s not relevant to consider equivalent costs!
Was speaking to one of my daughters boyfriends and they spend £200 a weekend. Beer and Ubers
Maybe phone a bad example but you don’t need the newest one
Is beer and Uber relevant or again is that someone’s choice? And I agree it’s someone’s choice
Anyway work to do

Even the wording on the website. Reads as ‘us’ and ‘them’

The new Family Zone price gives great value to families and will encourage them to sit together in our Family Zone seating area.

Meanwhile:

Our regular 2023/24 Season Tickets will also be available, securing your seat for every game, every goal and every moment in the 2023/24 league campaign at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

At times you're insufferable, just say its shit , because it is .. or are you just gonna die on this hill 🤣

It isn't ideal just don't think it's as bad as "my kids can't ever go to football and see their favourite team again".

I will be having to move and pay more also, ideally I wouldn't have to but I will sort it.
