Penalty aside, Shaw looks decent when he fills in at CB.

Brighton are a breath of fresh air in that league. 4th is probably beyond them but would be great to see them make 5th

No doubt the wealthier clubs will be in to steal their players but they seem to be able to refresh and bring new ones in, they must have a very good scouting network as they seem to find some gems that the bigger clubs lazily miss.

If I was the owner at Spurs and others I would be kicking the scouts arses saying why aren’t we finding these players.

Depends what they invest in & prioritise. Brighton & Tony Bloom have been ahead of the curve for years with their use of data etc. to help them identify these players.

I think some of the bigger clubs, the old so called big 6 if you like, aren't prepared to do this & they'd rather clubs like Brighton take the risk & then buy from them once they've proved themselves at the top level. Makes the players much more expensive of course but seemingly they're not too bothered about that.

This is a good read:

What gets me with the P/L this year is the interim mangers who I find most strange decisions.Leicester for instants had Brendan Rogers who has a win record average of over 50% replaced by Dean Smith WRA less than 40% at any club he has been. Then Everton Frank Lampard (who I don't rate ) but has a WRA over 40% replaced by Sean Dyche never got near 40% anywhere. These are just 2 examples I could Quote more.IMO I think these very move will probable end up in religation.

Rodgers' WR will be distorted by his spell at Celtic

Big Sam should have picked himself he couldn’t have done much worse than this lot at the back.

Allardyce is a good manager but Leeds are done with an awful fixture list coming as well
