Nah I was in the North and there were plenty singing, not as many as the naughty corner but it was louder than it has been. Lots of families and old folk around me and they gave it a go.

Not sure how standing 90 mins is some kind of badge of honour, works for some parts of the ground but small kids and older people can't see if everyone is stood up. Needs to be a balance. The atmosphere was great, seen lots of praise from all sorts of places about how good our fans are. Stop nit picking

I'd love it if we had more areas of the ground standing.

Leeds to it well. We do it brilliantly away. It ramps up the atmosphere. Looks more intimidating

It's literally an all seater stadium

So is Leeds. Liverpool the same on a big European night. Behind both goals at United it's fully standing. Same at Chelsea. Even Arsenal have 3 sections where fans stand now.

I'm not suggesting the whole ground should stand, people at the bottom of Block 15 is something I'm surprised about.

I'm not even suggesting it should be every game but a play off Semi final, I had thought more would have been standing. 12pm kick off probably the reason.

Birmingham in the 50/50 game at St Andrews was the first time I've seen a full Coventry end standing behind two goals. Loved it.

Goes back to the ticketing issue really. If all the seats were sold properly and in order people could pick the areas that suit. As it was you got what you could get cos they opened 11/12 late.

Totally agree.

I think there are lots of fans in the North Stand who'd love to join in with the atmosphere more and probably would have wanted tickets in the corner but it's sold out.

Without coordination you effectively are. If you stand then about five people behind you have to stand all the way to the back of the stand.

I'm suggesting other areas of the ground but like you say, it's unfair if people behind want to sit.

I've had the opposite where I've been forced to sit down at games because of people behind.

I'm glad we don't have that problem at away games anymore.

Yeah it’s the worst of both worlds because the SAG is scared of letting the standers be undiluted with families. We need safe standing and us selling enough that different areas can develop their own personalities. While behind the goals is basically overflow for big games you’ll never get it right.

Ironically the only “trouble” I saw at the game was two arguments over someone standing in front of someone who couldn’t. Which probably would have been avoided if the standers had been able to buy in 11/12.

This is why the club closing 13 and limiting tickets in 14/15. There's a lot more people who'd love to stand and sing for 90 minutes who cannot buy there.

We don't and won't need to open 11/12 again for a long time but 13 should be open next season. There's enough segregation anyway.

Currently no such thing as safe standing it’s a huge issue
