Still pinching myself (1 Viewer)

The difference between winning and not is ridiculous financially. We should still be in a decent position should the worse happen, but should we win it'll be the equivalent of winning the lottery. Actually, it's the difference between having 4 numbers come up and 6 numbers plus the bonus ball.

Cant even imagine winning right now. Not even convinced the final is happening. If we lose none of this was real anyway.

I have been really good at not getting overly excited, thinking about us being in the prem, raising my hopes…it’s just another game. Boro and now Luton are really good. They’ll beat us…it’s still been a good season.
Every now and then I start to dream…I hate myself for it!

Did i make this up or do we currently get about £7 million a year in tv revenue? Then we get promoted and we get £100m per year? I saw that we are guaranteed £178m over three years even if we get relegated first time round cause of parachute payments.

Isn’t that just insane

Totally bonkers. That's why I think we should try to stay up on a relative shoestring rather than splash the cash. That amount of money could keep us competitive in the Championship, and possibly yo-yoing with the PL, for a decade.

Going to be so close,
City lost 1 in 19
Luton lost 2 in 19
Both sides deserve their chance, both clubs fans have been through the mill, both clubs need the money, both clubs have good managers.
It’s a one game shoot out !
That’s says Pens doesn’t it

We've got to keep the faith. I think Luton are a better team overall, but in Hamer and Gyokeres, we have the better individuals and I believe that'll see us through.

It's going to be tight and it's going to sap all of our energy. I hope it doesn't, but as a neutral I'd be betting on a draw over 90m and decided on penalties.

Even at 3-0 up?
Penalties are for nightmares. No thanks

The big differentiator is both clubs (except Luton) have the SBA

I think so too. Everyone is expecting a 0-0 but I have a feeling we’ll destroy them. 3-0

I’d love it (Kevin Keegan overtones) if we battered them 5-0 in a similar fashion they did to us last season. Revenge is a dish best served cold…

One minute I think we'll lose 3-0, the next win 3-0. My nerves are shot, and there's still a week to go.

Sensible head on, we've got a virtual brick wall at the back, but they've got a team of bulldozers. They're a brutish team, and that's my worry - early season, high balls into the box destroyed us, and Luton are full of power and height.

We've come a long way since early season and we're also a physical side too.

Our back 3 has developed remarkably since the start of the season.
Luton's pitch is tiny and suits their style, Wembley is massive in comparison, and will suit the likes of Hamer, Sheaf and Allen.
