Weird isnā€™t it. Doing the same myself. Been ever since we could make the playoffs and so from reading onwards.

Think the first Middlesbrough game was the worst all the permutations and the fact we should have been well clear from Sunderland, West Brom and Millwall. Been confident since then, still am.

Oddly the nerves I've felt for the last two against Middlesbrough were far worse. I'm uncharacteristically relaxed about this final, not sure if that will change on the day..sure it will.

Exactly the same, couldnā€™t relax for the Middlesbrough games, couldnā€™t pick a score , didnā€™t know who was going to win.

The final is different , much more relaxed, think we will triumph 2-0. But either way, itā€™s going to be some day!

Only really now thinking about it as people talking about it at work.

I was nervous about the home leg but then at the same time since Wilson scored Iā€™m kind of thinking ā€œwell this is happening thenā€. All season I was saying we didnā€™t have the depth to make it over the line but that moment changed my mind completely.

Still doesn't feel real, the Middlesbrough games ruined my nerves, and it still doesn't feel like reality that we are in the Championship playoff final. The consequences of potentially actually being promoted to the Premier League by winning one more game feels like complete fantasy and is so far removed from how the season started, and the post world cup slump that it just feels very silly. This is a daily mental conversation I have with myself trying to convince myself it is actually happening, I can't even get nervous yet, because it isn't even real, is it.

I've been sleeping like a baby though, because I've only just caught up from going to work Thursday morning on 3 hours sleep after getting back from Boro away in the second leg.

Sleep fine - fairly fine when at home - will relax a lot more when the tickets arrive

When I go to work though I get nervous about Saturday.

Also, might have to stop reading SBT until after Saturday as it's making me more nervous

I honestly can't bare the thought of losing a final at Wembley.

I just know we've been pretty lucky (i mean we've played great, so not luck at such) with our trips to Wembley so far, and one day inevitably - we will lose a big game there.

Just crossing my fingers Saturday will be a win, because the thought of losing is unbearable!

I was too wired to sleep properly on Wednesday but nothing otherwise, it still feels too far away and also not actually conceivable that we're a game away from the top flight.

Yes, if we had failed to get that point and other results had gone against us, there would have been massive recriminations about lost points here and there.

Thatā€™s why Iā€™m calm. Was convinced we were beating Middlesbrough - as youā€™ve said since Wilson scored I just think ā€œitā€™s our yearā€

I've got a fitbit and get all the sleep analysis, I've not really had a 'Good' night's sleep in May.
Itā€™s messed my sleep up for sure. Itā€™s not healthy. From Bham game on life has been all about CCFC and lifeā€™s possibilities. I will no doubt now fret that all my connections are ok back from Spain to London as we only land at Stansted at 10.45 am

You could walk to Wembley from Stansted in those 6 hours... Get somebody else to deal with your luggage šŸ˜āš½ļø

from spurs to exeter, every time weā€™ve played at wembley ( Iā€™m not counting charity shield šŸ˜‰) weā€™ve played teams whoā€™ve finished above us, same result, play off semi finals against Middlesbrough and notts county, nobody really fancied us, when weā€™ve been up against it we find something, cant wait for Saturday but Iā€™m not wishing the week away, take it all in enjoy its gonna be epic,

We've got what we needed in the last 6 or 7 games all with similar pressure. I know it's in touching distance now, but we should be well equipped to deal with it and in game management. The only thing we've not really experienced is going behind so as long as we keep it tight or preferably score early I think we're there.

Big pitch, experience for management at Wembley, used to pressure, more fans, more noise, better key players, momentum, one defeat in 20, golden glove winner between the sticks, best midfielder in the league, best striker in the league, best manager, future England defender, togetherness, spirit, desire among 1000 reasons why it can and will be us! PUSB!

Had one dream where I couldnā€™t see the pitch from my seat when final game kicked off that descended into a nightmare. Had another where we scored against Wolves in the semi as my Dad was in the online queue.

Fair to say itā€™s seeping into my subconscious.
