We need a whole new defence next season , and Hamer and gyo will go so it’s a massive summer window and it’s going to take time for a new team to gel and god knows how we replace gyo and gus.

Yeah, he didn’t deserve to sign off his city career with that. Injuries have just taken their toll but nobody could ever question his commitment to the club
I'd assume he volunteered for the penalty seeing himself able to have the exit as a hero. Did anybody (including him!) think he'd score though?

Not even close relegation is far far worse. Another shit defeat watching a bunch of nobodies who don’t care is worst. Seeing a great team give their all and come as close as you can isn’t close.

The club was in such a mess I felt apathetic when going down to League 2. This was like watching a once in a generation prize go to someone else on a penalty kick.
