Luton,s striker Morris doubt he Will be any good in Premier league, good in championship though scored 20 goals this season. Cheeky bid for him maybe, Gyo replacement ?

I think before anything else we need to get back to playing football. I know we may have had better results playing long and on the break but when we were play are short pass game we looked terrific and literally played some teams off the park. So who ever we get in player wise I just hope they can play a bit .

Need another AM and attack minded CM in the building on top of what we’ve got really.

He's had the season of his life and this isn't me being bitter saying this, but I'd want better than him.

Wouldn’t want him, useless lump upfront, we’d just end up playing shit longball football and I for one won’t be paying to watch that

I'd rather take the punt on Jerry Yates or Ike Ugbo or Al-Hamadi, I'd be very disappointed if we ended up with Carlton Morris

I'd see if we can prize Barlaser from Middlesbrough, very talented but doesn't get much game time since his transfer. Would be a starter every week for us so the lure of that may tempt him away.

You’d prefer Hamadi who has only ever had a good few months two leagues below, than Morris who has been quality this year?

Not even worth arguing about anyway as Morris will be starting in the prem next year.

Completely agree with this and it actually really excites me.

Would suit Hamer perfectly if we can keep him but if not we move on and Im confident we will find quality players to develop and replace him.

The key this window has to be to continue to recruit quality but prioritise character over being 'proven' as we have done so far under MR.

Yeah 12 home draws, parking the bus all 10 men behind the ball. Will be so exciting to watch, not !!!!

I really think they are in for a shock and it won’t be much fun for them and no good for the league. It is just about getting the money and running, we would have been no better though

Oh I totally agree with you, will be no fun at all for them. They will struggle to get any points away from home, I think forest only won once away from home. It was there home form that kept them up, can't see luton being that good at home, no matter how small and tight there ground is.

Cash in on Vik while there is still big interest. I’m not sure he is going to be the megastar everyone thinks
I’m tempted to agree. He’s got room for improvement (don’t think he’s ever scored a header?) and needs to add a few more dimensions to his game. I think it will depend a lot on who coaches his but I wouldn’t be surprised if he went up a level and didn’t set the stage alight. I think he also feels it’s time for him to move on.

Hamer I think is irreplaceable. A really special player. I’d really like to see him grow into being club captain.

Scored a good header v Sheff United I think it was. But yeah doesn’t score enough - our crossing is always quite poor tbf.

I think Vik has struggled at times against the better defenders in the championship and Mark Robins keeps saying he still has a lot to learn, so yeah cash in now whilst there is interest.

What about copying what Villa did three year ago they took Tammi Abraham on a twelve month loan and he scored the goals that helped them get in the play-offs and promotion, he cost them high wages and couldn’t secure him permanently but they have become an established premier club looking to take the next step towards the big boys so it was money well spent.

Really doubt Abraham would leave Roma to join us.

The key is to actually recruit which we haven’t done since yok and Hamer

Opportunity there but I think his form in the last 10 games especially in the big pressured games will mean someone will take him

The consensus is that Vik is going and thank you & good luck to him. However, as MR has said he isn't the finished article yet and I hope he can make the transition to the premier league.
As for us - can we make Gus an improved contract offer to secure him, perhaps with a clause that if we don't get promoted next season he could leave for "£xM"?
In terms of recruitment for the squad, it depends on whether MR wants to stick with our current style of play. One thing we definitely need is 3 new CB's, 2-3 Wing Backs, 2 AM & 3 Strikers. It's going to be a busy summer and I hope we add some speed to our squad.

Both Gus & Vik thrive on playing week in week out another season here with a better squad built round them would benefit them imo still in their prime in 12 months so if we miss out again next season they and anyone else can look at other options. I don’t know what if anything has been discussed yet I suspect there has and Robins will have outlined his plans. They will know where we need to be serious challengers next season.
