he also sacked Sillett and couldn’t be bothered to tell him first
True. Sillett was actually hospitalised with Yellow Jaundice when he heard the news. When he finally spoke to Poynton he told him the only thing yellow is you, you bastard!

Fisher in reality has only been a figure head for years and has had to manage The Madness Of Queen Joy and her constantly failing strategies
It was he who moved us to Northampton and was using Northampton as a stepping stone to Nene Park where we would have stayed but was thankfully blocked by the EFL.

He would not have had the authority to do that and the only reason it was done was pretty obvious

Whether there is any arrangement in place for SISU to receive a % of the prize money (no evidence there is) is largely irrelevant to the reason they were there (it won't have been conditional on them turning up 😆).

They were there because they would have been invited out of courtesy and they accepted. That's about the sum total of it.

I know for a fact it was a plan or idea. Like I’ve said Northampton was a stepping stone or he thought it would be.

Any of them
For all or part

The comment was they tried to get it on the cheap ?

The only offer I recall was the £2m for Higgs share - did they ever make a formal offer at all?

Well he started with quotes “we have moved on” and the “ship has sailed” Also boasting “we” batter people in court then later trying to distance himself from sisu.

Yes Tim as I said loves the stage and says anything he likes with no real grain of fact

I'd be amazed if there wasn't some clause that saw Sepalla / SISU get some sort of return if certain things happened, that would be pretty standard wouldn't it? You wouldn't leave yourself open to selling the business and 6 months later the business is £100m+ better off.

Could well be the same with players. Otherwise what's the benefit to not holding on to the next transfer window, selling everyone who attracts a fee and taking that money out of the club?

But I wouldn't read too much into them being a Wembley. Would just be a courtesy to invite the owners who were, like it or not, involved in part of the season. If they start turning up at games regularly next season then maybe its time to worry.

I don’t think it would be standard at all

Isn't it as easy as Doug probably invited them out of respect as they were here all the way? Nothing to suggest there is any bad blood between them.

Look they were the owners for first half of the season. To suggest they would not have some pride in Coventry reaching Wembley Play Off Final would be ludicrous. Remember they would know the players and their families. Not just as players but people. Of course they would want to be there.

I believe they did they said it was simply because they were a charity they would give them it out of generosity said it was not worth that much but did not withdraw it , just didn't follow through so suppose it was a withdrawal.

Let's face it, Fisher as chairman oversaw our rise from the bottom division to the cusp of the top, only he and Derrick Robbins can say that.

If they were that sentimental about the club’s fortunes during their time here, they didn’t show it very often but anyway.

If they’d completely cashed out of the club only to watch us get promoted just a few months later then it would mean they’d missed out on tens of millions of pounds…..personally I wouldn’t want a front row seat to that - I wonder why Tim and Joy felt differently.

They didn't sell the club for £1.00 and how you would personally feel is irrelevant.

I have never met either, I suspect I wouldn't like them. But Mark Robins seemed to have a working relationship with Joy. People were deluded about how much money SISU had. They confused the amount people were investing in their funds with the small percentages SISU were earning. For a number of years the investment markets have been tough.
