I do enjoy a good pre-season fixture when the opportunity avails itself...

@Otis, what are the trains like for this one, mate? 😁

Great little ground. A couple of years ago we were down there on holiday and saw them play Wycombe in the Carabou. It was the night we lost at home to Northampton, I think. Definitely be going to this.

Maybe we can start having home friendlies again now we have good relationship with stadium owners?

Inter milan please. The game that never happened.

Laying a new pitch so it won't be ready.

Oh no...the thought gives me the jitters. When are they starting on that and how long will that take? My 3 week education and non stop discussion on grass growth on here at start of last season has left my memory already!

Don't worry, should be done in time   🤞 .

However, if we play Sunderland at home first game, the pitch won't be ready until 15 mins after kickoff ;)

We will easily sell out the away allocation for this, probably take just over 7,000 fans.

Last time we went there chose to go in corporate dying, I wouldn't recommend it, IT WAS SHITE.

Kept separate from the home fans in dying and stuck in the corner in the stadium 🏟️.

I guess the plan is to break us in gently after Wembley.

Apart from the obligatory game against Nuneaton Town I'd expect Brum, or Villa or Forest. (Thats Forrest to piss baldy off)
It is pretty irrelevant who you play pre season. But yes it would be nice to have the last game at home big draw v Villa, Wolves or Forest.

Except we can't have a home friendly this year due to us laying the new pitch

Leamington (so their captain can talk smack about our players on Twitter afterwards again).
