Third person to be arrested and released without charge. Something starting to seem a bit off with this but not sure what
Wonder why she’s not saying how outrageous it is that she’s been arrested

Thatcher is almost the complete opposite to Johnson. She did genuinely want to improve the country and worked hard to do so, but she absolutely believed in a completely insane way to do it.

Boris is a chancer after whatever he can get for himself for as little effort as possible and will say whatever he thinks people want to hear to get what he wants.

Thatcher wanted to make some people richer, she's not different to Johnson in that

Johnson was always atypical mind you. Beyond the Brexit nonsense there was a lot of commitment to spending money, it's partly why Corbyn's went a little too mental, as they had to veer from a 2017 offer that hit about the right note to one that seemed absurd, just to maintain a difference.

(For clarity, I'd quite like a 2017 style one again)

Plus you’ve got to love Sir Micky Take. If only because the right has become such a parody of itself that they’ve quoted this parody of a right wing MP twitter account as fact.

You’ve got to feel sorry for Dorries she had been promised a nice easy well paying number and the nasty boys have taken away that chance.

Who wants unelected bureaucrats?

Fair play to Morgan. Dorries is just deluded. There’s millions of people who have come from the same background and made a success of themselves yet don’t get any recognition for it….let alone someone who was going to get honoured for her loyalty to a dodgy PM who had to leave office in disgrace.

Also, who had a more privileged background Johnson or Sunak. Yes sunak went to Winchester but just sounds like his parents were just pretty well off, self made/hard working people..not the usual right of passage of the Eton boys*

*Obviously now he’s in a different stratosphere with his wife money

What seems to be lost is that the word judgement is the problem. Whether it’s one word, an 8 page document or a report card.

HMI and OFSTED are not fit for purpose because they have long forgotten that they should be driving school improvement not just measuring it.
Great clarification
Fundamentally I’d want to listen to the experts in the profession and not politically driven dogma

The problem is it’s all a game being played and there’s not much evidence of it being predictive of anything or of Ofsted materially changing anything.

Every single teacher wants to do better, every school wants it, have yearly safeguarding inspections and continual improvement support and publish behaviour and attainment info.
