Can only be good news moving forward, hopefully this will see a reduction in injuries too as last season was silly!

Couldn’t help but notice in the pictures that the wasps dugout seats have finally gone, could finally get some CCFC ones back in there 👀

Good to see it will be the same as Ryton and finally an elite pitch being laid for us.
Good news, wonder if it's part funded by Fraser group who own the stadium?
I thought the temporary fix pitch held up pretty well until the end of the season... if it did cost £1Mil, in today's financial climate to be ripped up in hours seems crazy... ..thanks Wasps another part of their legacy, we sold our best defender to fund it and its now it's in the bin confined to the history books.

Jeez Ash, how the hell did you notice that, what device are you using to view the pictures?

Great news re: the pitch, let’s be honest it’s been a bloody farce for years, it’s remarkable we have been able to play the type of game we do on it.
And to have identical ones too at Ryton has to be good.
Good old Doug…again.

Great that the pitch is being relaid, but we seem to have had problems with it from the very opening of the stadium. Don't know if there's some underlying drainage issue due to the type of soil (though a professional pitch should be dug pretty deep to lay good base layers and drainage.) Obviously been even worse recently due to Wasps playing on it and hopefully it'll hold up well this time.

If not then I think the problem would require the entire sublayers to be dug out and redone.

Good to see we are sorting out the horrible concrete track around the pitch too

Totally funded by the Sky Blues.

Wonder how that works with other events on the pitch. Surely there will be some safeguards in place around what use it gets and who pays if someone else fucks it up

Yeah exactly, would we get a % of the rent for the upkeep?

For example if we buy and maintain the pitch and Frasers rent it out for a local cup final in the rain and it needs work...

they removed seats and put barriers in for the concert i believe - god knows if it'll stay for the football or not
