Eh? It was labour under Blair wasn’t it?
Without it being a Pawsey, it's been Labour. Bill Price before Jim, too.

Mark has a half decent majority as much because he works for his constituents so is worth voting for as a local MP... as long as you can ignore some of his questionable views anyway.

Well, at least we now know the real reason the Tory MP’s ousted Boris. A 10 day suspension would have been enough to trigger a GE, he got a 90 day. They knew what was coming because they always knew the truth.

How would it trigger a GE? You mean a by election?

Recommends he doesn’t get an ex member pass to the HOC.

Difficult to see how there’s any way back for him. The truth has set us free. The mutiny within the party hasn’t happened bar 1 resignation, Nads still yet to officially resign. Imagine the mess they’d have been in had he managed to blag that he had enough backers so RishI had pulled out after Truss resigned.

It's absolutely scathing.

Imagine our shock as pathological liar is found to have lied.

He's already windmilling everywhere this morning, as are his adoring lickspittles. Lovely.

This really does show up Sunak too. Given his position at any point I find it hard to believe that he had no idea that A) Boris had lied B) that the outcome of the committee could possibly have been anything other than what it is C) or even he didn’t have advanced knowledge of what the outcome of the committee was. Yet he still waved through Boris’ list to the HOL. If he was in a position of strength or even just had strength of character he would have wanted for the committee to publish and then refused to forward Boris’ list of sycophants to the HOL because he didn’t leave the role of PM honourably.

There was somebody interviewed for a BBC article who said that all MPs lie... apart from Boris, who's been stitched up and has been an excellent Prime Minister. Now, two angles for that.

We're fucked as a country if more than a relative handful of nutters across the country think that.
If it is just a minority view, haven't we taken journalistic balance to ridiculous levels?

Up next, Paul Chuckle on the ozone layer.

it isn't doing that, no one really cares about her now
It's not that, it's the by-election and the day in the sun of humiliation. They were hoping to get them all done close to each other, sod off on holiday, and then pretend it never happened. Now they get to come back and lose a by-election just before party conference season.

Nads making a total ass of herself today. Just for a change. Insinuating that that the committee members are in line for some sort of favour for the report. Such as a place in the Lords. This from a person who themselves was expecting a place in the Lords as reward for political favour. And is in no way bitter that it didn’t happen. Apparently not resigning now because she wants answers on why she was refused. One problem

You would think as the former Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport of the United Kingdom she might understand that.

the best result for the opposition is the tories vote against the report
Free vote apparently and Sunak’s SP refusing to confirm wether Sunak will even vote. They’ll be the nutters who vote against it but I think the majority of Tories will just go awol for the vote leaving the opposition benches to vote it through.

Just found out it’s also his birthday on the day of the vote. Happy birthday Boris.

The casual acceptance of the all MPs lie thing by pretty much everyone is probably at least in part a reason we've ended up where we are. Instead of it being deemed unacceptable we're just given MPs a pass so they've pushed it further and further
