Because what if the Vik deal falls through , what funds is he going to use ?
A good business man doesn't spend money he hopes to get
The club will know how much interest there is outside of Everton …. He’s going to go somewhere this summer

Cashflow forecasts are absolutely a thing in business.

It’s extremely unlikely Vik doesn’t go. We already have bids in. We can always sell below £20m if push comes to shove. But waiting means everyone knows how much you’ve got and raises their prices. It’s not risk free. Not to mention you might lose targets.

Doug should be able to front a couple of mil for a signing and be comfortable it’s coming back to him. Otherwise what’s the point of him?

I thought with the amount of players we need we'd at least have heard some strong leads or concrete rumours or bids etc only one we heard about was Leighton Clarkson and he went elsewhere.

Couple of players I like the look off are Arkadiusz Pyrka and Filip Szymczak. Both play in Poland and Polish U21's internationals. Both would be fairly cheap as well. Would be interested to hear the thoughts off those with access to the detailed stats and how they stack up.

Their fans are pretty clueless by large. One stated he didn't think they should accept anything below £5m.

I'd imagine the fee is well into the six figure mark but it won't be anywhere near £1m.
I’d hope not taking a cursory glance at him. Seems quite injury prone, but albeit talented. One of the many players in that Wrexham squad playing a couple of leagues below their true ability.

They paid £250k for him apparently. Can imagine this to be around £500k.

they think £500k is pennies to them, but it will do them favours when it comes to FFP and there ability to do more business in the transfer market

Yeah they don't seem to realise that going from no financial regulation to financial regulation is an issue. Not surprising given the level of intellect on their forum.

Funnily enough is when you have the playing budget of a top 6 L1 club and according to the SCMP rules L2 clubs can only spend a maximum of 55% of their turnover on wages.

But yes if I had to guess I'd imagine the fee is probably around the £400-500k mark.

General consensus is that he's Wrexhams best player bit slightly injury prone. Very much hoping he's Kelly's replacement rather than Hamer's

Haven't got a clue. Currently waiting on a response from a mate who's an avid Chesterfield fan to get his thoughts.

If it's Hamer's replacement I'll be giving my platinum seats away for free.
He’s a defensive midfielder so unlikely to be Hamers replacement … more likely to provide competition for Sheaf, particularly if Kelly moves on.

With Burnley signing O Shea, i wouldn't be shocked to hear McNally is being targeted. He would be a very good perm signing for the club.

Rumours on Foxes forum that both Cov and Leicester are interested in Ciaran Clark, who has been released by Newcastle.

centre half.
