Is what it is, can’t say I understand why it’s necessary but so be itGames being played behind closed doors. Looks like it will be another ‘open training session’ pre season tour
For reasons we discussed beforeIs what it is, can’t say I understand why it’s necessary but so be it
And I disagree with you but each to their ownFor reasons we discussed before
You can disagree all you want but they are what is happening and the reasons why it is.And I disagree with you but each to their own
No biggie for me anyway I’ll use the time to explore Albufeira’s many bars
Dont think we are playing down Cov fans heading over there. It's the opposite for me. I think it's possible the club are keeping it low-key to avoid many fans travelling over.Don’t really follow this. Prem sides head to USA, Australia, China, etc. Absolutely packed with fans and far more recognisable. Yet we’re poo-poo’ing the idea of a few Cov fans fancying the trip. If I hadn’t already booked my summer holiday I’d definitely be up for going over, watch the City and play a bit of golf.

It maybe that the place they are heading just isnt suitable for fans to be there.
What's wrong with you?You can disagree all you want but they are what is happening and the reasons why it is.
Nothing thanks. Glad thats cleared upWhat's wrong with you?

Difference is Prem sides literally do it for the money - getting the brand visible in growing markets. I'm sure most of the managers and players privately fucking hate it and find it counter productive.Don’t really follow this. Should clarify, by ‘we’ I meant the club. And appreciate there’s been nothing direct but the actions (or lack of) say enough.
NEWS: Sky Blues squad to travel to Portugal for pre-season training camp
Coventry City will travel to Portugal in July for a pre-season training camp.www.ccfc.co.uk
Hardly a disgrace is it? Upset a few supporters who may have gone thats itDisgrace really, king really upsetting a lot of loyal supporters
How ?Disgrace really, king really upsetting a lot of loyal supporters
Why? Are they not allowed to have a private training session and match to try things out without the public present? Does your work open every meeting up to the public?Disgrace really, king really upsetting a lot of loyal supporters
All the players sharing 1 bedroom at the hotel apparently. Also trying to organise a few 6 asides with the locals. What a shit show.
More likely requested by MR.Disgrace really, king really upsetting a lot of loyal supporters
It was a request from Robins. don’t blame him in one way but in the past pre season tours have been good opportunity for fans to be with players in relaxed surroundings. I’ve been to a couple and it’s been good and players have been terrific with fans.More likely requested by MR.
And yeah, let's not do the necessary pre-season preparations so a few fans who want to watch the training aren't pissed off.
You perfectly explain the reasons why he wants it behind closed doors. He doesnt want fawning fans distracting the players. It was a request from Robins. don’t blame him in one way but in the past pre season tours have been good opportunity for fans to be with players in relaxed surroundings. If you would read what I put. I agree with it but doesn’t mean it’s fair on the fans many of whom have booked flights and accommodation as it was common knowledge of location and where the players are staying for the weekYou perfectly explain the reasons why he wants it behind closed doors. I was there as well, only time I've been on a pre season tour.I went to the one in Ibiza when I was 19 - it was brilliant.
Well more fool them. The club hadnt made anything official and they booked purely based on internet guesswork and assumption. Zero sympathy for themIf you would read what I put. It wasn’t guesswork. The hotel details were openly shared amongst many back in May.Well more fool them. The club hadnt made anything official and they booked purely based on internet guesswork and assumption. Zero sympathy for them
Can you show we where the club officially announced that public admittance was possible for the tour?. The first time they mentioned the tour was today. Publically shared by everybody but the club yet im meant to feel sorry for fans who couldnt wait for confirmation. It wasn’t guesswork. The hotel details were openly shared amongst many back in May.

Clearly reading is selective on your part. I asked where the club announced the tour and that fans were allowed to watch. Im not denying we knew when it was im asking you a straight forward question of was it officially announced by the club yes or no?lol - you are making a tit of yourself here. you must have been the only person not to know Portugal was booked for the team months ago. many and I mean many knew months ago, details shared amongst many fans. Majority of the same fans who were in Spain last year.
plus Flights are cheaper in advance. So many would have booked early to get a good deal.
But not once did the club themselves actually say it was happening, let alone that fans would be welcome. And surely that's who you should be taking the information from.lol - you are making a tit of yourself here. you must have been the only person not to know Portugal was booked for the team months ago. many and I mean many knew months ago, details shared amongst many fans.
