If I hadn’t already booked my summer holiday I’d definitely be up for going over, watch the City and play a bit of golf.

Dont think we are playing down Cov fans heading over there. It's the opposite for me. I think it's possible the club are keeping it low-key to avoid many fans travelling over.

It maybe that the place they are heading just isnt suitable for fans to be there.

Difference is Prem sides literally do it for the money - getting the brand visible in growing markets. I'm sure most of the managers and players privately fucking hate it and find it counter productive.

We're doing this to get the players fit for next season.

It was a request from Robins. don’t blame him in one way but in the past pre season tours have been good opportunity for fans to be with players in relaxed surroundings. I’ve been to a couple and it’s been good and players have been terrific with fans.

Clearly reading is selective on your part. I asked where the club announced the tour and that fans were allowed to watch. Im not denying we knew when it was im asking you a straight forward question of was it officially announced by the club yes or no?

But not once did the club themselves actually say it was happening, let alone that fans would be welcome. And surely that's who you should be taking the information from.

I've no doubt if it had turned out to be bollocks or the club rearranged same said fans would be up in arms about the club not telling them it wasn't the case.
