Wrexham are a complete anomaly and Aberdeen are the third best team in Scotland so I’m not quite sure why you think they are unable to compete with us they are going to be playing in the Conference League next season at worse

Read similar sentiments last year when we only made 1 permanent signing and a bunch of loans in the whole window and ended up having a good season.
We need probably another 10 signings and I'm confident we will make them. It's still very early days.
Wait til we lose our first pre-season match....

Clubs of our stature very rarely are successful in acquiring their first or even second choice targets.

It happens at all levels. Even at the top end of the Prem. Players are fickle and agents are gold diggers. They can be all set to sign on the dotted line when another club pops up and offers them 50p more and a packet of Haribo and off they fuck.
