Dabo final words (2 Viewers)

A very important player for us in recent seasons.
Didn't deserve the vicious, moronic criticism he got for that penalty miss, I hope he's able to put it to back of his mind.

“I found out after the game at Wembley which was the cherry on a shit cake.”

I don’t quite believe that part tbh, even if he hadn’t been told he wasn’t playing and was out of contract anyone would have an inkling

Always remember how incredible he looked in the St Andrews season - genuinely thought he’d be poached by a bigger club. Shame injuries hampered him as I think he could have been an asset in our promotion push.

Side note; the telegraph site is essentially unreadable. So so many ads and pop ups, absolute shit show.

Typical, the one article on the Telegraph I'm actually interested in reading and it's so painful.

As for Dabo, love the bloke. Hope he can still have a good career either in League One or even a lower league Championship team

I remember Josh Pask playing RWB when we first returned to the championship. First game Dabo had missed in a cov shirt and little did we know we would never see him return to be the same again.

Was stronger and faster than anyone in league one, was sure he was going to be a top championship right back. Great player for us!

He had a long standing thigh injury a couple of seasons ago and I don’t think he ever returned the same player and was in out with injury ever since, bloody shame because when he was at full pelt he was a real asset.

Most worrying comment was his revelation that Da Silva was slower than him !
ive seen that from the Bristol fans saying we have hugely misjudged him as a player

They say he's very good with the ball at feet and a quick thinker/passer. But that we'll be very disappointed if we're expecting him to beat a man or run with the ball
