Nothing announced yet. All players out of contract excluding Kelly gone so be interesting if the likes of Moore stay too. The squad as it stands very depleted.

If he signs that's Kelly sheaf hamer Eccles for the 2 CM slots.

With Allen option to play there when required

With Palmer o hare Allen as amc and hamer option to play there

Midfield really hinged on hamer staying. We still need a AMC regardless I think

That’s good news. Good to have around the squad. Just needs to be managed but he proved his worth in the last part of the season.

We all know Kelly will trip over a blade of grass and be out for 6 months, only reason he played so well back end of last season was because he was playing for another contract, personally would of offered him pay per play, that way his goals would be try to remain fit, would of benefitted both him and us.

Why do people go on about ‘pay per play’?
When has a player ever signed up to such a contract?

Even if they ever have i can't see why Kelly would agree when he could probably get a full contract at a lower level.

Good news, and decent player to have on the bench, and as things stand at this moment, Eccles is the only one capable of playing at RB so Kelly could well be needed to add cover in midfield.

Should think he will sign before we go back to pre season. Can imagine we have only offered 1 year though.

Some will disagree but I should imagine he’s attracted a bit of interest elsewhere due to his form at the end of year. Would deffo get a two year contract in the league below or in Scotland. Being our captain, he’s in a good position to ask for more money as well.

Injury record still a concern for me but well worth another year.

Might get 2 years somewhere next season. I think 1 further year makes sense as long as he gets game time, which I'm sure he will if fit.
