Would love him back, not only is he an excellent player but its some much needed continuity in a back line that will otherwise look completely different.

Coventry City are back in the chase for Burnley centre half Luke McNally - and keen to push ahead of Millwall in the race.

The Sky Blues had McNally on loan last season but may try to buy him now, with funds expected for new players - possibly paid for by a sale.

McNally has hardly figured for Burnley since joining a year ago and they may cash in on him now.

Millwall have been trying to sign McNally on loan but would find it hard to raise the cash to buy him if the auction goes that way.

Wow, looks like we’re actually going to spend a significant % of the Gyokeres money…

… I’m shocked in a good way!

So if rumours have legs we're looking at Kitching, McNally and Joel (not attempting to spell surname) as our back 3. Looks decent.

Didn't 'Joel' play mostly RB and RWB for Swansea last season?

Used to play CB for them. Wonder if we might see him more of a RWB option who can cover at CB.

Di Trolio? Or too soon?
I imagine a pre season with us and then a league 2 loan seeing as at 17 he was playing consistency at National league south. As people have said, he's bulked up already and we'll prob take a look at him for a month or two.

Alabi is with the team at the moment too I think, and I imagine him/Rus/Tyler will get a solid season long loan now.

I think we'll find out what we see him as if Robins decides to bring BNC back or not.

If we’re serious about signing McNally then it may be that Latibeaudiere is a backup RCB to replace Rose. If he can also play RWB then he will likely see a lot of game time either way.

Can't pretend to know but you'd think too soon. Playing regular football in Conference South at 17 shouldn't be sniffed at though, we send a lot of players out older than that who don't get regular starts at the same level.

Agreed. Think last season we loaned players like Finnegan, Alabi and Nee out to southern premier league and they're 3 years older than him.

He came from St Albans didn't he? They nearly won promotion this season too.

I’d be very happy if we started the season with Kitching, McFadzean and McNally as our back three.

I don’t think he got picked much after leaving (unless the club loan watch wasn’t accurate), maybe St Albans seen it as job done securing a fee

Yup I think it’s vital we get 1-2 of the loans back for that reason

Been to watch them a few times - at one point they got promoted to the Conference but weren't promoted because an oak tree was growing in the middle of a terrace.

Honestly, and I'm about to put a massive target on my back from 90% of the forum here, I don't want to see Fadz, Godden, Kelly, Allen starting regularly for us next season. I want us to keep moving forward.
To be very clear I have no problem with any of these, I am happy for them to be in the squad, to get some minutes and I appreciate what they've done.
*ducks for cover*
