Hamer is without doubt one of the top midfielders in the Championship and was instrumental last season 8n getting Cov into the play offs. Some of his performances were immense and he completely bossed the midfield on many occasions. However the question remains what is his current sales value to the club? None of us know and the only people that do are the owners of the asset. Robins will undoubtedly have all scenarios covered off . I'd be trying to get another CM in now who plays in a similar way if possible. The drop off from Hamer is huge. Even if he doesn't go I think we need someone as back up to him and who can have a year to adapt to the league before they are a regular starter next season
