Oh read up. Apparently my finance application failed but I never saw an email (and can’t find it now) so I haven’t actually got a season ticket. Had to buy match tickets for tomorrow, gonna see if I can sob story my way to at least early bird prices but I doubt it.
Fingers crossed for you mate!

Despite the Hamer news I’m really excited for tomorrow.

It has to be Sheaf and Eccles in the middle with MVE RWB, but it won’t be. I know MVE looks a fair way off as it stands, but tomorrow against a weaker Boro team might be the game to give him a go. We need as many creative outlets as we can .

I think he’ll start Godden too, but I’d like to see him go for it and start Wright and Simms.

A win tomorrow is vital for momentum and to release some of the inevitable negativity re the last two games and the sale of Hamer.

2-0 to reignite the feel good factor.

Would go back to the box without Hamer. Puts too much on Palmer with 2 DM's and 2 ST's.

Have Sheaf & Eccles screening, with Saka & Palmer providing the creativity for Wright. Play an elevated version of our League One promotion tactics and keep the ball more.

Spot on, we did well last season but gave the ball away too much, I think we get to see the best of wright tomorrow/ today, he’s gonna be quality for us

I wonder if the box will make a return today, Tats and Palms behind Haj.

Anyone turning on the team at this early stage is a fucking wanker, simple as that.

Sad thing is, unless we score early it’s guaranteed to happen.

Unfortunately I expect Simms to get some stick the first mistake he makes and absolutely bizarrely there’s some absolute tosser near me who like to moan about Sheaf constantly - I imagine he’s the sort who enjoys 4-4-2 and is wowed by players hitting a Hollywood ball regardless of how many previous failed attempts or step overs that go nowhere.

I have a gut feeling the players will want to show that they are not a one man team. Think we will sneak it 2-1, Wright and Palmer with the goals

If MVE is going to be the player we want him to be then we need to play him, even if he isn't 100% ready right now. It'll take a lot longer for him to grow into his role by leaving him out of the team rather than playing him.

If I'm honest I'm fucking sick of it anyway. Only go through force of habit. Not really much fun in it anymore. Fuck em

Fuck off, we're just off the back of our best season for years.
Drop one in thecanal pre match and you'll be right on it come kick off time.

Never easy being a city fan but if the money from vik was a chance for us to secure the next few years then the money from Hamer similarly so
I wouldn’t want to limit the work that mark and adi are able to do but I do think top 10 would be a massive achievement this year

Gonna scruple up my season ticket that printed on a piece of a4 and fuck it back at them.

Robins has adapted our style of play every season when faced with adversity. He will do the same now, we have a substantial strike force and some very creative attacking midfielders, so we will just go about things a different way. It may take time to gel, but we are well placed to perform just as well this season. Remember at one point last spring we were without Sheaf, O’Hare, Palmer, Godden was coming back to fitness and we literally only had Hamer and Vik to drag us through. But we have more depth this time round.
