I'm not in the know and have never claimed to be. I do have "gossip" from a mate. He was in a barbers in Leamington on Saturday morning. Simon Moore comes in as he knows the barber. Moore had a bandage on an injured finger apparently. More apparently said that Hamer wanted to go as soon as we failed to get promoted and was never going to sign a new contract. However, much to his disappointed there was no queue for his services, only Sheffield United. He had a choice of them or us. Chose them. Take it with a pinch of salt if you must, just passing on what I was told.

If that's the case, then Doug King did well in getting 15m for Hamer.

But...but...his agent wouldn't let him sign the contract.

Having a quiet night in tonight so might actually end up watching the Forest v Sheff U match. Interested to see how easily he slots in if he plays.

Others may say they don't care, he's not our player, and time to move on etc. Which is absolutely fine, nothing wrong with that.

But personally I'm interested to see how he does and will follow how he gets on in the PL quite closely

That Sheffield Utd line up has Championship written all over it.

He's playing for a team that last week made Palace look like prime era Barcelona
They are still busy building a squad, more players incoming apparently. (Where have we heard that)

Personally I think Hamer will do very well in the PL, but I've no idea if that will be enough to keep the Blades up, but they've only got to finish above Luton, Everton and Forest who i think will be amongst the struggling teams.

Everton’s transfer policy this summer has been ‘how much can we scrape off the bottom of that barrel?

He could do well, but he'll have to do well without much of the ball.

TV channels not required in 2023

It's not anywhere, TV or streams tonight. Only place I've seen it is radio commentary on Talksport.

But if anyone wants to watch Gyokeres and Sporting or Kane with Bayern, both games live on Bet365 and SkyBet (account is required for both).
