Binks starting and on the bench a bit tough for the poor bloke.
Ha ha! I did the same with Da Silva and edited my post. Yeah, Binks needs to pace himself in case he's brought on to replace himself. New tactics - that'll confuse them!

A t rex tribute band making dog shit music for simpletons. The fact you like them wrap-up my argument!
Their monobrowed solo output even worse.
I still rather go for a pint with Liam than anyone in blur though.

Piss all over T-Rex lets be honest and i like them

Oasis literally shaped a generation and still do today. I didnt see 5% of the population applying for tickets to see T-Rex? They could have done a month solid at Knebworth. People that try and slate Oasis in my view just try and do it to be different.

They still have a massive following and always will i feel. Is that the same for Blur? Is it Fuck.

If you're going to use those types of metrics to prove your argument then you're inadvertently arguing that numerous boy and girl bands are better than both of them!

And they literally stole t rex riffs! I actually loved their first album, their failure to build is what pisses me off about them, musically they could have been so much better.

I'm not trying to be different, and without trying to sound to hipsterish I was in to them, and saw them, before definitely maybe was released but I just thought they should have developed in to so much more. Really disappointing they didn't.

Id agree with you on that.

First 2 albums are 2 of the best ever

Their final album was the worst of the lot, apart from Shock of the Lightning it was a snore fest and you could tell they were done.

Must say though I much prefer Liams solo stuff to Noel. Noel seems to have disappeared up his own arse this last decade

I think holy roller by Noel is one of the worse songs I've ever heard!
Liams last solo effort was half decent to be fair

I hope you're joking?!
No fucking way!

I like Blur - I've grown to like them more as I've 'matured' but by a number metrics, Oasis were the bigger and arguably better band. I totally get peoples disdain of the Gallaghers but others, they were heroes.

Personally speaking, I had a tough time as a kid growing up. Height, Irish, girls name - I was a decent target for the idiots at school. Never bullied but never totally left alone. Weirdly, Oasis's music in the mid-90s...it felt like it gave me more of a swagger, more confidence. Not sure why.

And some of the songs Noel Gallagher has written are all time classics. But like I said, I've grown to like Blur more as I've got older.

Back on topic, Cov are ace.

What, the idea that it’s possible to drop a 32 year old geezer that’s neither strong, quick or tall when there’s a £5 million signing sitting on the bench that is easily all of those things? You think Godden is THAT amazing that’s it’s a fucking stupid idea to drop him for one game? One single game?!
We’re not talking about Gyokeres here, Godden played second fiddle pretty much all of last season, he scores 2 easy goals (and one slightly harder one) and suddenly he’s our most undroppable and loved player.
I’m not saying Simms is definitively the answer to all our problems (I’d rather see Wright up top as a sole striker with 2 attacking mids in behind) but at least consider the idea that for some games, even for just a single game, the answer to all our attacking problems might not be Matty Godden.

Everyone’s obviously entitled to their opinion and I don’t like talking shit about anyone’s ideas because at the end of the day we’re all on the same side so there’s no real reason to argue amongst ourselves but I just wish people had more of an open mind to mixing up the team sheet a bit. Just because we take out a guy that’s scored 3 goals this season doesn’t mean we’re going to stop scoring goals, it is actually possible that goals can come from other formations and other players too.

I think people are getting hung up on his price.

We signed Moldovan and he hardly played due to the form of Huckerby and Dublin going up a level when he arrived.
When we did try to shoehorn him in to the team we got beat and ended a decent run.

I'm not saying Simms time here will take that trajectory, I'm sure it won't.

But I think dropping our top scorer to accommodate him will just add to the pressure it looks like he's under.

His chance will come, no need to rush it, especially not at the expense of our leading scorer.

Holy Roller?!

Some of Noels solo stuff has been questionable but people are thinking every song he's going to write is another Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Supersonic etc.

Dead in the Water, Dying of the Light, Open the door see what you find, Trying to find a world that's been and gone - all great songs of his solo stuff.

The 'Who Built The Moon' album which was more experimental because the produced David Holmes tried to get him in a different direction, had some questionable tracks but even the title track is a great tune.

Everyone has different tastes though. And to be fair, I was dancing to Parklife with my son in the kitchen this morning, pretending I was Phil Daniels, prancing around!

Not really. The price is a reflection of his talents. He’s 22, quick, strong, tall, and with a record just as good as Goddens in his short career. It’s not like there’s no reason to assume he’ll be better all round than Godden. And ultimately strikers don’t build partnerships by not playing with each other.

Nor by throwing someone in for no apparent reason other than he's there.

His time will come, I hope so anyway, I've got him e/w top championship scorer.

But who knows what the chairman thinks in terms of increasing his value and selling at the opportune moment to either go again or pay sisu back?
