Didn't stop you with Norton-Cuffy or Wilson-Esbrand did it? Every match you complained about them totally unfairly and desperately tried to pretend they were responsible for goals which they clearly weren't.

Interesting no comment about Bidwell's pathetic defending for their goal last night. You seem desperately disappointed Dasilva has been playing do well.
He’s a bit at a loss because he can’t call JDS or MVE worse than JWE and BNC.

I don’t think he has been playing so well. He’s tidy enough but defensively he’s poor. I doubt Bristol City are pining his loss. Bidwell has been poorly treated and we’ve hardly improved anything in his absences

Anyway I’m not taking lessons if someone who thinks Josh Eccles is a superior footballer to Ben sheaf and sheaf won’t be missed from the team

There seem to be a lot more goals starting down the opposition right flank. Yes people can say that Bidwell hasn't been great when he comes on, but defenders can't be thrown cold into games and expected to instantly perform. It's batshit crazy that one of the foundations of last season has been discarded. I'm sure he'll be off in Jan.

So why would it be wrong to criticise Ayari because as you say he is a 19 year old loan but was fine to criticise Norton-Cuffy and Wilson-Esbrand in the manner you did?

I’m not sure how it’s the fans who always end up it’s the blame.
You can’t expect someone to show the passion and commitment needed to pay hundreds of pounds for tickets, and invest hours of their time into supporting the team, and then not be annoyed when the team put in a performance like that.

If these players are any good, they’ll already know that their performances haven’t been good enough. The fans pointing it out shouldn’t change anything

I can't believe that you think the crowd doesn't affect players.

If I was at work and being booed, shouted at, then I'm not sure I'd perform better.

Anfield is a decent example of where the crowd can encourage a team. Playing at places where it's either like a morgue, or the fans are on the players backs, either inhibits the home side or encourages the opposition.

Sorry but some of the most successful clubs in the land play in absolute libraries.

And I didn't say booing at them would make them play better. What I did say is if these players are any good, they would know that second half performance was not worthy of anything but a boo.

Also lets remember, the boos came at the end of the game, AFTER they had put in that performance. I object to the idea that the bad performance was down to booing that hadn't happened yet

But do you think the booing increases the bond between the fans and the team, or helps alienate them?

I think mild booing (the sort on Monday) makes no difference. The performance is being booed, not individuals.

Idiots slagging off individual players on Twitter and copying them into the tweet obviously alienates them. That for me is completely different

Funny the Grendel crew aren’t all over Ayari for his performance last night. As bad as anything Palmer has put out.

Yeah he was really bad.

I noticed he generally got low scores in the ratings thread, but without the vitriol that Palmer gets.

He scored a goal by @Deleted member 9744 logic compared to Palmer his strike rate is phenomenal

I'm the first to get angry with negative posts but there's no getting away from the other night that we were bloody awful. There can't have been many of us who didn't know we wouldn't win that game as we watched it unfold second half.

But with calming down we have to remember that we have nearly 50% of our best players injured. Get to January and see where we are.

Let’s see how this season plays out. It’s just a game of football FFS . No one’s dead … YET … 😡
Technically, I suppose lots of people are indeed dead. Isaac Newton, Julius Caesar, Frankie Howerd to name but three.

I don’t think any of the big signings look any good. 4m spent on Kitching and where he’s even going to fit in?
