Absolute twat, had one or two chants go his way but nothing malicious.
He never got abused at all! He came on and there were a few boo's being thrown about. What he done after that was a joke! 'IF' he is a coventry fan like myself and I scored a goal past the sky blues then I for one would NOT celebrate as if I just won the lottery shouting "COME ONNNN"
Having said I didnt agree with his celebration it did stir things up amongst our fans which made it a tense and fury finish which I enjoyed.
Ps Robbie Keane didnt support Coventry and when he scored past us he had the respect not to throw it in our face... Although he played for the villa he still has my full respect!
If you scored against the team you supported, would you celebrate?
Of course. He plays for Swindon and he scored for Swindon. He wants to show his passion to his fans. Nothing wrong with his celebration IMHO.
cut the crap, he scored, end of;
if we'd been more astute/aware/savvy we'd have signed him,
aim your fury at the likes of Wisher & Faggott,
they do it all to suit their own purpose, not yours, not ours,
but THEIRS
Are you saying we should be annoyed we didn't sign him? I'm relieved. He's scored 2 so far this season.
Exactly, only reason we're annoyed is the fact we threw away a game we was incontrol of, and he happened to be the player to make it a draw. Nothing more. He went a bit over the top to be honest but i say this...
is it any different to what Macca done last season when he scored that pen at home against leeds last season? ran over them, kissed his hand and waved at them? NO!! and we didnt say "Macca shouldnt have done that really" we lauded it and thought it was great
Only thing is Collins has been dicked around by Cov in the past and present and he was over-joyed to get on the score sheet and a "Fuck YEAH!" against the club thats messed him around, 2 goals in 12 games?
Im glad hes at Swindon. No more dead wood please!
But mcheffrey isnt a leeds fan?

I listened to the post match reaction on local radio afterwards as I normally do after an away game and to be honest when he was interviewed he was pretty gracious, said he got carried away in the moment and said he does still support us but was getting a bit of abuse that he didn't really understand..
There was another interview with Di Canio which was the strangest interview I have ever heard.. He didn't stop talking for a full 10 minutes, I'm pretty sure he didn't even breathe! He won't be there long, I can safely say that much.
Swindon fans were deluded though.. Apparantly they were in total control of the game and could have easily won it..
To be fair to the lad if he was getting abuse its completly understandable to celebrate. Even if he did he can still celebrate, im sure he would like to play for Coventry but plays for Swindon and if he didnt celbrate his goal surely the fans he plays for week in week out would have sumin to say about that. If he was a legend at Cov im sure he would not celbrate but he is a fan and Swindon pay his wages. Mountains out of Molhills. How would we react if any of our players didnt celebrate against a club they supported. Be differnt if he played there but not like Collins owes Coventry? Or am i as usual missing something?
Must admit I thought it was a very obnoxious celebration that was completely unnecessary, especially from a so called City supporter. I don't think any of us would have an issue if he'd celebrated like that in front of his own fans, but deliberately charging towards our fans, taking his shirt off and diving on his knees in front of us as if to say "F*** you" was a bit classless. As someone already mentioned, if you weren't there you can't appreciate how inflammatory it was. I admit it probably seemed worse in the heat of the moment as we were all frustrated at having thrown away a 2 goal lead.
I know he's claimed he did it because of the abuse he received when he came on, but the "abuse" he received was very, very minor, and tongue in cheek I thought - a bit of booing from a minority and a few "it could have been you" chants. The only real abuse he received was after his celebration, as he'd managed to antagonise the entire City support by then!
How many times does it need to be said, he didn't get any abuse before the goal. After plenty but not before his over zealous celebration.
