Poor game overall but great to get the three points. Wilson man of the match. I’m worried about midfield if Kelly and Sheaf are both out injured.

We don't have a dodgy defence, we have nothing in front of it meaning it's easy to play through us.
There are signs we have recruited players that will develop well.
The reason the players you named are the best players so far is because they have played the system for 3-5 years. Not 3 months (at a push!)

It wasn’t the midfielders that kept handing the ball to their strikers and generally looking like keystone cops when the balls bouncing around out area.

Getting Sheaf, MVE and especially O'Hare back after the international break is going to feel a bit like the January window. Can't wait.

I'm not sure who someone (Fernando maybe) was alluding to earlier about a potential surprise on the bench - but I thought they were on about O'Hare. From what I hear, he'll be back straight after the international break.

Piecing together the shit I read on here, and let's face it, it's mainly shit on here... I gather there's a chance all 3 could be back in straight after the break.

Still don’t understand how we’ve spent £20m and the best players are Godden, Kelly, Eccles, Allen, and Wilson and the dodgiest bit is probably our defence.

Probably because the defence is the biggest revamp in the team. Only McFadz in there from last season. He has had moments of brilliance and moments of being sloppy this season.

They are all good players and just need to bed into a solid unit. It is still early days and I think we will do ok.

We still need to learn to play in Simms and Wright better. To me both look like they want it into feet or just a yard in front of them to run onto.

Strikers have 9 between them in 10 games.

Keep that going, that's 42 over the season.

Don't care who gets the goals between the three.

We scored 58 across the squad last season.

Get c.25 goals from the rest, that's progress.

Need to tighten up, but think we'll have +ve GD.

We'll get 64 points if we keep this level going.

If O'Hare is fit from Jan, think we'll improve a bit.

Still think we'll have same points as last season...

but finish a few places lower. I'd take that now.

Add a CM to improve the first XI in Jan, top 6 is on.

Folks need to chill. We've started OK. We'll be fine.

MVE, Sheaf, O'Hare, Palmer, Kelly - if they are available shortly after the international break, it'll be fantastic boost. Fingers crossed for them all. With the injuries (and our record against them) I'd take a draw against Norwich tbh.

FFS, we've just won with an ugly victory.
Can't you for once just f*&king celebrate a win without the need to get into another petty squabble

Just back in the car and a two hour drive home.
I actually think he prefers it when we lose.

It's unlikely but a win on sat and we could be top 6

Great to get away with one tonight, obviously quality in the boots of Ayari but needs a lot of coaching to become a reliable player at this level

That’s what he did with his childish “give your head a wobble” sorry he’s a child and I’ll treat him as such - boring as well

Last comment from me of the evening.

For those who refuse to want to see Wright and Simms together after the late substitution. Last two games 2 goals for Simms and a goal for Wright. No goals for Godden. 6 points on the table. First back to back wins of the season. What more evidence do you need?

Thank God for that.

After Wilson's "Rome wasn't built in a day" there, I really expected his next words to be "so they tell me".

What’s the opinion on their disallowed goal, was it cleanly in Wilson’s hands ? not too sure myself to be honest.
